Superjet Dual Bilge Pump Install (and DIY flush kit)

NOTE: Recommend maybe waiting to do the marine epoxy last. It's not necessary to do first, I think it might be easier to get everything fitted in first, then epoxy or FlexSeal it down.

Having the pumps either side of the engine coupler is a better spot. As in the back of the engine bay. That’s where the water sits.

I need to install a pump on my 750sx and was wondering if the location of your billet holes worked well? I'm just concerned that water will flow back in when the ski is in the water. Have you had this problem? I would just install a check valve but I've heard this is a bad idea. Thoughts?

You need to put a electronic switch, so they switch on automatically.

Thought about it, Water Witch also makes something cool with no moving parts, might add something like that later, preferred the manual on/off.

You can still retain the manual switch. I have my boat wired with the automatic and a manual switch for a piece of mind.

Where did you exit the bilge? Did you use two exit ports?

1wave use Whale Electric Field Sensor Switch instead of mechanical float switch. You can wire both automatic and/or manually on a three way switch.

Everything about this was done incorrectly. Bilge pumps should be sitting next to the coupler as that is the furthest back when you’re actually riding the ski. Also why drill two holes in your hull? Just buy a 3 position switch.
