I was so stressed the whole time near the end of the game just trying to get out, everytime I was just an inch away from giving up, I kept moving. I was so beat from all the forced perspective, my expectations of reality in a world that has no fundamental rules and its' own rules within itself being shattered. All for the sake of to expose how you act when threatened with something difficult to immediately understand. You're immediately shown how everyone acts and how you do the same and how you need to not let it get to you. This was truly an expirence you couldn't get with a movie or a book.

i want to give a huge thanks to this game. because up until now I was afraid of what i was to become in the future. I used to be pessimistic. and believed that i couldn't do anything. But i realized that wasn't the case. there isn't a need to be afraid of the future. because right now I may not find my way, but maybe in the future i will. I'm not bad, nor am i good. I'm just me, i have a lot to learn. People may hate me, people may love. people may leave, i may face problems in day to day life that seems terrible. but that's okay, i'll figure something it out one day. I wrote my problems day after day in a diary, until i came to accept them for what they are. and moved on with my life. i'm 17, i wonder what will happen to me in the future. but i'll figure it out someday. sorry if this sounds cheesy, didn't mean to make it sound like that. but i felt like it had to be said for how much this game has done for me. also I FINALLY FOUND MY PASSION YAY! myself a year ago probably wouldn't believe me.

This is the song to the end of my Roadtrip Playlist. Its because the message fits in in a way. People want music that is coherent and for just us and because of that we don't listen to other music. We can't see the stories that they can tell. The Roadtrip Playlist shows that you just have to appreciate it all and at least give it a chance. So if your going on a long, long Roadtrip, then play this for a wild ride, or maybe a ride with surprising music. If you just finished, then thank you for listening to this Playlist, for you have learned to open your mind. Now all you need to do is open that car door, and walk forwards, towards the lands beyond.

The words from Dr. Glenn Pierce are so amazing, his soothing voice, and the fact he sounds so proud of us. No matter what, we always went out of the room, and we survived. Even when the computer voice, and Pierce himself told us that everything was bad, and there was no solution, we found a way out of every room, it took us time, maybe a few tries, but we learnt, and we refused to stay in the locked room helpless. We could have stay in the cloud movie room, calm, nice, there was a soda. But we didn't. We didn't accept monotony either. You are amazing.

The way that they had the blackout scene as intending to be scary so the player always thought that something scary was about to happen, but nothing did. Just finished it on the 10th of April 2023! It's been 3 years since i've watched a playthrough and now finished the entire game myself! When I first heard this piece of dialogue, I felt quite proud (and ashamed for watching youtube videos for hints because i was brainless and wanted to finish it asap) of myself for finishing this MOSTLY without hints. It's a good way to end a puzzle game, I should say. Because you don't even know WHY you're playing this for. You just play it because you like the story, or you are a gamer. It's good for leadership problems too, since you'll be thinking out of the box for most of them. It was a good epilogue to end a puzzle game.

This game is really cool but I’m questioning the “perception is reality” quote because it seems as though they contradicted that with the horror section. You’re given hints as to there was a murder because of blood trails and the spookiness of it all but later find out it was only paint. Therefore what you perceived, wasn’t really reality.
@bruhmandude-h1i3 жыл бұрын
The whole point of that section was that your preconceived notions told you it was a horror section, based on dark hallways, flickering lights, and red splatter. You likely felt the typical ominous horror pressure. As you pushed forward, and turned on the generator, you get the rest of the picture and realize it was just a construction set that lost power, and the red splatter was just paint. Your initial perception made you believe it was a horror section. Basically the lesson there is don’t make assumptions on limited information, because you can perceive a problem that isn’t actually there.
@ashwalkerson19343 жыл бұрын
In addition to what @@bruhmandude-h1i said, they also course corrected near the end. They wrote perception is "not" reality on some of the signs. Modern applied psychology talks about perception is not reality. It's only real to us but just because we see one thing, doesn't make it true. Cultural wisdom says reality is what we make it. Psychology is teaching that reality is complicated and not as simple as belief in something, to keep asking questions and when we think something is fact, get more info first. Question our beliefs. Just because I feel like a fake doesn't make it true. Petty heavy stuff in this game.
