SuperLite SL-C Kit Car hits our Hub Dyno! | Raul Hiteshaw

Check out this SL-C Kit Car with a 4.2L V8 Maserati motor! We had the pleasure of having this unique build on our Hub Dyno to make sure his FuelTech was tuned and his car ready for the road courses! In the video, you will hear from our FT Education teacher, Eduardo Arcondo, as he helps you better understand some important features of our FuelTech unit!
Owned by Raul Hiteshaw, this Kit Car has been a project for him since he acquired the vehicle in 2021. Since then, he has chosen FuelTech to be his choice of power management within this beast. Using our FT600 ECU for engine management, our NanoPro for an extra dash display, switch panel, and O2 conditioner; this road course car made 410HP! For being such a lightweight vehicle weighing in at only 2300lbs with the body on, that is some power!

I'm not sure why you went from a LS3 that at it's bone stock setup is 430HP to a Maserati that sounds the same as a chevy with only 410HP. If I ever win the lotto I will buy a Superlite SLC for street usage for sure. I love the look of those cars

Ya we put it in his friend’s 3rd gen Camaro and it ripped! But this isn’t the final stage of the build, we will get more power into it.

There sure is a lot of "I don't know" mixed in this crew . There should be at least ONE master in this group . And the "we need to check the firing orders" ?... The guy that installed the ignition system should know exactly what's going on from the start . It sounded pretty good though . I would have thought there would be more than 400 ponies though ...

Still sounded like a Chevy v8. They have to work on the exhaust and little more to achieve the desired sound he’s looking for!

Yes agreed! when we put the body on we will be building the rest of the exhaust to do this.

Yes this is the same block f136 but the Maserati is cross plane crank instead of flat plane like the Ferrari

lol. Changed the whole engine when they could’ve just changed the exhaust… 8 into 1 header would’ve done the trick… 👍 Maserati engine much nicer, but much expensive too lol.
