So the reason it's called ONE (Monster & Infinity) is because it's basically a mash up of two songs!! On the album Monster and Infinity are two separate songs. ONE uses Monster's verses and Infinity's Chorus. The bridge is a mix of the two! you should hear the songs separate!

Hi guys I feel like you're ready to dive into Baekhyun, Taemin, and Kai so you can really get the full picture of why they're in a legends only group. They're the hyungs (big brothers) in this group. Baekhyun is oldest and SuperMs leader both he and Kai are in Exo. Taemin is Shinee's maknae (youngest). Shinee is a legendary group know as setting the gold standard for kpop groups in the industry. Shinee is an older group (older than Exo) but Taemin was 14 when they debuted and is younger than Exo's Baekhyun but he's been in the industry longer. Fun fact: If you know Taemin's group SHINee and their song history, you might notice several references to iconic SHINee moments within SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)". For instance, SHINee has a song called "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" which was created by combining two songs from SHINee's Sherlock album "Clue" and "Note" to create their title track "Sherlock." Just like how "One (Monster & Infinity)" takes two songs, "Monster" and "Infinity" from SuperM's album to create their title track "One" on their Super One album. (The beat switches up because it's a mashup of the two songs.) Also, as the SuperM members made reference to during their press conference for the release of their album, one of the parts of "One (Monster & Infinity)" choreography uses a finger movement that is very reminiscent of an iconic part of SHINee's "Lucifer" choreography. And yes, "One (Monster & Infinity)" is mostly in English, just like "100" and "Jopping" are also mostly English. SuperM is supposed to be geared toward the U.S. market so all their title tracks and most of their album will be in English. Hence their U.S. debut in 2019 and SM's partnership with Capitol Records and Marvel. To understand SuperM's story you have to know a little about EXO's concept and storyline. The members of EXO are all aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, Baekhyun has the power to control light and Kai has the power of teleportation, so those powers are nothing new for them. (You see Kai teleporting and Baekhyun using his power of light in "Jopping".) However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other member (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of their teaser videos leading up to their release of "Jopping".) So I think because Kai and Baekhyun are part of the group, SuperM's storyline is tied to EXOs storyline. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from corrupting and taking over the world, etc. Although I haven't really had time to analyze in depth what is happening in the "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV yet, right off the bat, what I see are references to Kai and his role in EXO's storyline with the numerous pyramid symbols you see throughout the MV. As part of EXO's storyline, Kai's symbol is a pyramid which represents his teleportation superpower. How I interpret the scene with Kai hanging from the building, is that he is climbing up a building and as he is climbing, pieces of the building are breaking loose. Kind of like in a 007 or Mission Impossible movie, or maybe those are pieces of something that he is being attacked with from above or are falling from something being destroyed above him. You also see drones hovering below him, but I am not sure if that is what he is trying to avoid because they are controlled by the Red Force, or if that is part of SuperM's arsenal and they are helping him in his mission. The military uniforms are used to show that they have become soldiers now preparing to help EXO battle and defeat the Red Force. (In "Jopping" SuperM are in the desert in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, so I think the use of the tan uniforms are to help them blend into the desert environment.) It is said that the concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so, I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group, just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup. Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking the "best" members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how, in the end, each of the Marvel Avengers members recruited their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's dream concept and storyline also connects to EXO's storyline, just like how many believe that Red Velvet is connected to EXO's storyline -- it is believed that SM's girl group Red Velvet, EXO's sister group, may be the Red Force. I think that SM may even have set it up so that at least all of their third generation groups -- and now maybe even its fourth gen groups, with the addition of aespa -- have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think the story in their "Moonwalk" MV is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" MV is also part of that story. The part in "One (Monster & Infinity)" where you see Lucas floating, reminds me of his part in WayV's MV for "Turn Back Time" where he is suspended in the air as the fallen angel. The fact that SM has now officially partnered with Marvel to fully bring to life SuperM's concept of being the Avengers of Kpop, and the fact that their storyline is supposed to be about creating an Avengers-like group to help EXO battle the Red Force, only makes me more sure that SuperM's storyline and all the groups represented within SuperM are all connected to EXO's larger storyline. Also, at the end of the MV what you see are flashes of SuperM's pre-debut/ "Jopping" MV teasers and they were how the group was introduced and it showcased the members special powers and abilities and helped to establish the group's concept and storyline. Which was a lot like how EXO's storyline was started and has unfolded over the years. The last clip with Taemin and that LG phone device is new, and besides being a product placement ad, it also is clearly the next clue or piece of SuperM's storyline. (That's a real phone. It's one of LG's newest phone styles, so you can really buy it.) I'm pretty sure that scene is meant to set up something that will become important in the future to continue SuperM's story. Plus, we see, Kai and Taeyong using the same phone in the MV. When you see Kai and Taeyong using the phone it looks like they are looking at a map displayed on the screen. This could possibly be a map to help them navigate through the maze which it looks like they are in in "One (Monster & Infinity)". Also as part of EXO's storyline, the members of EXO are trapped in a maze by the Red Force and they are trying to find their way out. So, SuperM may be coming to help the other EXO members find their way out of the maze and to beak the control the Red Force has over them, etc. Fun fact: Taemin's end teaser was even kept a secret from the rest of the SuperM members and they didn't even know it was part of the MV until they watched the finished MV during a special release party. And now, since the release of "One (Monster & Infinity)", we have discovered that the symbol you see on Taemin's phone -- ae -- is actually the logo/symbol for SM's new girl group named aespa, which debuted Nov. 17, 2020. It now looks as though the end scene was meant to be a teaser for asspa's debut. aespa is a four member girl group whose concept revolves around the fact that their name means "Avatar experience" and each of the girls has an Avatar character, so they also are superhero-like beings. We will have to wait to see whether aespa joins forces with SuperM or if they end up (joining Red Velvet?) becoming part of the Red Force. (Does the Black Mamba turn aespa evil so they join Red Velvet in their pursuit to take down EXO/SuperM? Or does aespa defeat the Black Mamba and harness their powers to help EXO?) So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines -- and probably even now their 4th gen groups -- are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa, and maybe even Taemin's solo work (and possibly -- but not 100% sold on the idea -- even eventually SHINee, even though they are technically 2nd generation. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. So who knows, when SHINee comes back maybe SM will draw them into the storyline as well.

The best way to tell Taeyong and Mark apart if you can't recognize their faces yet is by voice (though FYI Taeyong is the one who looks like an anime character and changes hairstyles and color almost every comeback lol). Taeyong has a very unique and distinguishable voice and he's the one that always has the deep aggressive/rough growling voice lol and has a distinct way of how he pronounces his lyrics. He also plays around with switching his flows and style a lot and he will be the only one to speed rap in some NCT songs and does a lot of the adlibs you hear in their songs and when he wants to he can change things up and sing (like in his solo song Long Flight). Also, when Taeyong raps or performs whether it's on a music video or on stage he's very charismatic and has this confident energy about him and is full of passion especially on a live stage which is the opposite of him in real life where he is very humble and laid back. Mark is the opposite has somewhat of an American (or Canadian) rapping sound and style, and his flows are more smooth and laid back sounding and since he's fluent in English his flows have a more even sound if that makes sense. I've seen a lot of haters on other platforms bash Taeyong because they don't like the way he raps or his style and thinks he's not a good rapper, but In reality, he's actually spent a lot of time studying music and rap and spent years working hard and learning everything he could and he raps that way on purpose because he doesn't want to sound or be like anyone else. I love his style and voice because it stands out and is unique and different. Both of them are amazing rappers though and their styles fit so well together especially when they do their back and forth raps

This song got many people thinking in manh ways, the structure of the song to begin with, to mamy sounds weird, it is a song that unites two other themes from the SuperM album (called "One") "Monster" and "Infinity". This kind of experiment was done priorly by other SM group SHINee (one of the SuperM member's is from that group). So if you are curious you can chevk out the other 2 songs, and just listen to the whole albjm cause IT IS A MASTERPIECE ALBUM. Also the concept of the video confused people, i might be nearing your age so i got the The Matrix references fast, also if you read the lyrics, it's pretty obvious, but the concept relates to other videos they have, some group teasers, and relates to the meaning and whole concept of SuperM, which also relates to the concepts behind NCT, WayV, EXO... SM groups have very elaborate concepts behind. Anyway, this may happen at a first-second listen-watch... but then you get past that and just enjoy it, cause it is a bop. Their album "One", i insist, is a jewel, you should at least give it a listen on your own 🤗

Really enjoying your reactions but I've been meaning to tell you this (and this is really important), the reason this subject of "favorites" is too sensitive is this: Idols live completely separated from the world & their families (I've seen them scout "trainees" as little as 5 years old) and are under pressure to train/perform/compete until fainting & being carried off stage, only able to breathe while attached to oxygen backstage, things are ruptured/broken (seen collapsed on the stairs with broken ribs...or in a cast & wheelchair at an airport one day...performing on stage in another city the next day), there's blood & vomit coming out of everywhere that can find a hole...and sadly sometimes to the point of death. Hence the reason reactors sometimes get confused with some groups "Wait..I thought there was 5, why are there 4 here?" The fans are exposed to all this & on top of that, it's well known that their "love songs" are to their fans & not actually to a person in their life because as long as they're under contract dating is forbidden. This is important for the safety of the persons around them among other reasons.They literally sacrifice their humanity & would rather die than disappoint their fans. No matter if you find a billion or just a couple million views on those videos, they're all working in the same industry under the same circumstances (all in that "research" people have been recommending) so most reactors wisely choose to just say something like "What did you think of this video and what should I react to next?"

"One" is actually a combination of their other songs "Monster" and "Infinity". You should check out their album, a non-skip one for sure. So versatile. And the reason why most of the lyrics are in English is because they're also under Capitol Records, which aims to promote Kpop in the western part of the world. They really reached out to SM Entertainment for this, and SuperM debuted in Hollywood last 2019. :)
