OMG this song is so enjoyable to listen...and it took me several listens before hearing the smallest of details. One example which blows my mind is that even in taeyong's rap part you can still hear the repeating motif throughout the song barely. The texture was just changed🤯🤯🤯

@@jorjeenprado9654 It's a "tag", as in a specific little sound (like this squeaky "moonshine!"), that the producers Moonshine put into the beginnings of their tracks to identify it as theirs, that sometimes remains in the final song. Umu and Sean mention it at the very end of this video but there's more on that on the Irene and Seulgi Naughty reaction + interview! 😊

It’s very interesting that SuperM is using more experimental b-sides to promote to the western market. Tiger Inside carries flavors of EXO, SHINee, NCT, and WayV, while 100 carries flavors of SuperHuman and Loona’s So What. It’ll be very interesting to see what the title track will be and how the western market reacts to these two b-sides.

The only thing I want to add in this comment section is how much I love the usage of onomatopoeia in Tayeong's rap: "run for the wild nature, vroom vroom; clear your voice um um"

This is a fantastically well produced and executed song but personally I prefer the sound of 100. 100 is so energetic and just drives you forward with it's beat in a really powerful way while Tiger Inside is more subtle and perhaps even hesitant at times. I acknowledge the skill and effort Tiger Inside took with my brain but my heart just wants to jam out to 100. As always, thanks again for the reaction!

100 is Jopping part II, it's an action movie in a song. Whereas Horangi is I Can't Stand The Rain part II (at least as far as Asian elements go, but I prefer ICSTR, better vocal melody) with added catboy fanservice. I feel like 100 and Jopping appeal more to guys with all the cars and hypeness and stuff and less sexual haha.

I love how the song is so recognizably SM but it truly ties in all the styles of each group. The beginning as well as the vocal leap in the chorus melody reminds me of Exo (and Monster specifically). You also get the rapping and shout-style sections from NCT, as well as all the classic SM harmonies and modal mixture/chromaticism. This is my favourite main release from SuperM so far
