Here!! 😎 Edit: my thoughts on this trailer is that it has the EXACT tone just from this trailer that was missing throughout most of Man of Steel: a heroic uplifting tone. That was exemplified in epic fashion in this trailer and the score had a lot to do with that. Seeing the other characters with comic accurate looks also was fantastic (especially Mr. Terrific). Overall, really looking forward to this film. Btw, B-Man, it might be a good idea to check out a few Justice League episodes (of course I mean the awesome animated series that came before Justice League Unlimited). Metamorpho was featured in one particular episode, hope it helps to make the character more familiar!

I agree what you described would look more intimidating but it would also imply his hair is heavier and denser than that can. The trailer has me asking questions, such as how did Supes get bruised like he did. Also, Nicholas Hoult is Lex Luthor. Personally, I want to see a Lex that takes more from Clancy Brown's portrayal, someone with a deeper voice and a bigger physique, and Hoult being 6' 3'' helps in that regard. And whoever did the casting for Guy Gardener deserves a high five because superhero fans instantly recognized him. I luv it when the actor looks like the guy (gardener).

Mister Terifict looks Terricly comic accurate. He is one of the smartest member of the DC universe heroes, we got a simple version of him during the CW arrow series. He was part of the new 52 run showing Brother Eye an AI that takes over the word during the batman Beyond timeline, so is good to see it here because that maybe part of the plot. Funny part of the interaction of Batman Beyond, Terry has to go back to stop the creating of Brother Eye and is so similar of Trunks arc on DBZ.

I think the suit is meant to be a Kryptonian battle suit, like in the New 52. The trunks and red cape (and maybe the symbol) are probably personal touches by Clark or Martha.

This looks good I have to admit. I loved the guitar doing the Christopher Reeves version music. I saw the original in the theater so long ago and it reminds me a bit of that. Metamorpho can be fun and nice to see him. Also The Phantom is the first super hero. He just gets forgotten all the time. I think they do the lines and padding on the suits because often if they were 100% comic accurate they would look weird on film. I love Hawkeye's original comic suit but I am not so sure how well it would look on the screen.

The thing I like about Gunn is that he consistently highlights and champions the “little guy” in his movies, ie the background heroes that nobody knows or cares about. Guy Gardner is the GL guaranteed to die in any event or else worlds comic. Mr Terrific had one or two good appearances in DC cartoons, otherwise he’s the JLA onscreen tech support. Looking forward to this.

I highly suggest giving the DC Animated Universe from the 90’s and early 2000’s a try, especially the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited series. They stick fairly close to the comics, almost every episode is a banger, and they get some fantastic voice acting talent. I also suggest trying the recent My Adventures With Superman, which is easily described as, “What if we did the early years of Superman as an anime?” Its so fun, they got Chris Parnell to play a pretty anime boy version of Deathstroke.
