David Corenswet looks absolutely perfect in both Superman and Clark. I am especially excited for Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor since he looks very accurate to Lex from the comics, and you can see his burning hatred for Superman in his eyes. Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane also looks right out of rhe comics and she'll no doubt kill it as Lois and Im happy to see the Daily Planet staff flesh out Clarks work life. I also am hella excited for Guy Gardener's Green Lantern, Mr Terrific, Hawkgirl and Metamorpho's debut too, even if Guy Gardeners baldcut does look as dumb as it does in the 80's Justice League International comics. Im interested to see wht they do with this take on Ultraman since Im about 70% sure its going to be revealed that hes a clone of Superman, aka Bizarro. I could see Bizarro/Ultraman come to hate Clark/Superman just for how much hes reminded by Lex how much on an inferior copy he is to the original Superman thus he resents Clark and wants fo kill him to be the true Superman which maybe Clark tries to reason with him to help him and take down Lex Luthor.

We know from the leaked toyline that the Kaiju will have a "kid" form and so it's possible that it's actually inspired by Baka, a monstrous dragon Superman met, fought and befriended in Action Comics 28 (New52). After beating him and imprisoning him in the Fortress of Solitude, Clark saw him change his appearance in a kid-like creature. Baka had lighting emitting powers but it's pretty similar in concept and design.

Lex drops the Kaiju in the city while Superman is saving the kid with the Flag to make him look bad and late saving the day. Also the kaiju has been referred to as "baby kaiju" so im wondering if Superman will also hesitate to hurt it meaning it causes abit more damage so people hate him for that

I think that for the DP, Gunn should take light inspiration from the Raimi Spider-Man films. I think Raimi balanced out the central plot and characters with the Daily Bugle SO WELL. Every character that works at the Daily Planet is fleshed out and it works so well
