Nuclear man: I will hurt people. Superman: ok. Lemme know when you're done.

Reeve always seems to have a smile on his face, whilst saying that- whether it's a nervous smile, or just he can't put on a serious face, but if you didn't know, he was concerned, you'd think, he was being sinister, like 'oh well, screw it, the people can die, this is funny, but you'll never hurt me!'

He never of went over the top with his performance; he let the costume do most of the work for him. He bore the weight of the responsibility he owed to this role with humility and respect and that’s why he will always be the best man of steel on the screen beside Henry Cavill. It’s tragic that is the last time he ever wore the Cape.

Everybody dislikes this movie? I thought it was pretty cool! I just wish nuclear man had gotten more screen time. He only got about 40 minutes in the movie, before Superman conquers him.

If only Christopher Reeve and Michael Keaton could've worked together on this.

Such a “horn” roarrrrrr arrh. At 0:04. The suspension of disbelief required to believe that Mariel Hemingway would have such an effect on any man, is way beyond anything else in this movie including building a wall with his eyes

It's a stupid plot line, but Mariel Hemingway was hot.

2:56 I wonder if Superman gets the bill for all that damage he causes?
@afriendofbean8 жыл бұрын
+Adam Ohm He probably wouldn't have to pay for anything because he could fix the damages himself. The way how he would fix it is to use his power breath to blow everything back inside, and then use his laser eyes to seal up anything he broke. He did all this to a ship that his evil self did by spilling the oil out and then Superman's good self blew the oil back inside the ship and then he used his laser eyes to seal the ship back together.
@AdhamOhm8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, maybe he uses his Fix-O-Vision like he used earlier to repair the holes in the Great Wall of China. Failing that, I'm sure he has a big stash of Kryptonian crystals back at the Fortress of Solitude and exchanges them for Earth currency any time he's in a financial bind.

I have to admit the effects in this really look fantastic on nuclear man's side the flying effects and other opticals need SERIOUS makeovers but his are really great

Meow Meow Time Show i agreee I thought the effects is pretty cool doe a 70’s and 80’s movie. Some looks kinda cheesy but i love them. I also think Christopher reeves is the best ever. He played clark kent and superman very well. Love it!

I would still like to know how the freakin' SWAT van managed to rotate around in circled while positioned perpendicular with the ground.
@williamshaw90474 жыл бұрын
The van was probably stripped of its engine to make it lighter and then moved via a crane, with the wires painted out later. They may have also built some sort of turntable device that the van rested on.

Because of the deletion of a major sequence in the movie where Nuclear Man kidnaps Lacy and tries to start a nuclear war, there's a pretty big continuity error where Nuclear Man starts out in Lex's penthouse, then is next shown flying to the building where Lex's penthouse is located. Not to mention he's asking Superman where she is and somehow Superman knows exactly who he's talking about which makes no sense without the deleted scenes.
