In 7 days and counting, this era of DC shows reached its finish line… Nothing can prepare me for that. Started in 2001 with Smallville, the foundation of expansion in 2012 when Arrow started and it’s influence sparked the birth of many other live-action DC shows, on and off the network. And now it ends with what I believe to be one of, if not the best pieces of modern superhero media of Superman. 💔

Luthor is going to learn the hard lesson… don’t mess with the Super Family or their home. Man, once this final episode airs, it will be the end of an era. An era that started all the way with Smallville in 2001. With the airing of that show, it showed everyone that long-form superhero television geared towards teenagers and young adults was the future. And then after Smallville ended in 2011, Arrow premiered in 2012, with The Flash airing in 2014, and then Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow emerging too, forging the Arrowverse, which also spawned some awesome crossover events in it’s time. Even though the Arrowverse ended last year, Superman & Lois is the last vestige of that amazing time. I don’t think that we will ever have a DC-TV phenomenon like the Arrowverse ever again… but I’m so glad to have been around to see it at its peak. Now it’s time to close the book, with an epic Superman and the Superboy vs Lex Luthor and Doomsday fight.

To me Tyler did the same for Superman what RDJ did for Ironman. RDJ went beyond the characterization of Tony in comic books & added more to his character. Tyler portrayed both the heroic & disguise persona of Superman perfectly then added a lot more humanity to that character. He’s adorable, goofy, kind & loving but when it counts he’s capable of being the ferocious protective husband & father that occasionally goes off the rails in protection of his family. Him going nuts on Lex in the rain was something I truly appreciated of this show. He’s not the composed & heroic Superman, he’s a furious papa bear & I love that he doesn’t regret bashing in Lex’s face.

Season 1 was the only worthwhile season. The alternate earth nonsense of S2 was a mess, and the villian was lame AF. They should have had this Luthor from the start

The conclusion is that Bizarro is no longer there. Perhaps Clark deeply understands this and makes a crucial decision. Maybe he has understood how to defeat the monster, once and for all. The dialogue Kal-El has with his hologram mother is important: he must accept the destiny. There's no return. No room for compassion or hesitations. Two options: the fortress or the Sun. Clark needs to bring Doomsday there.

Netflix should pick this show, this show shows how it’s possible to make Superman fantastic again, not mention Tylor plays a phenomenal Clark, him and Tom welling far as Tv 📺 roles, nothing like it…. Christopher Reeves would be proud of you two. Reeves version was the embodiment of what good you can do out in the world not because you have power but because of what you can accomplish with words by having conversations with one another. Great job to the writers ✍️ and the directors most importantly the actors they really pulled it off. In light of this I hope the give Brandon the right treatment to give him another shot I really believe he is the best version of Christopher Reeves version of Superman

The fact that this show has not only been the first to introduce a full comic book accurate look for doomsday but it’ll also be the first time in live action that we see Superman and lex actually fight instead of lex just being the bad human who creates some weapon or monster to fight Superman no this lex will and probably wants to fight Superman himself it’s going to be great
