I can't believe it's been 40 years since this movie came out. This song used to be played on the radio CONSTANTLY when I was growing up. Maureen McGovern sang this beautifully. The tune touches my heart because this is when music had SOOOO much meaning and when I could understand it more. So it's nice to listen to this on KZbin and enjoy the GREAT memories.

Agree 150%. There will never be one better to play the role. It was like they based the comic book on Reeves. :) Except he wasn't born then. :) He was so spot on. Had the look and mannerisms. Cavil looks NOTHING like Superman. :) Closest one I think was Brandon Routh. Had the look (mostly) and even sounded like Reeves. But couldn't carry it off as an actor. Didn't have Reeves presence. Would love to see them remaster Superman into 4k + Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

Michele Doage they said that she battled bipolar disorder. Then a while after she became an advocate for it. And I also heard on TMZ that they said I'm not too sure how long ago, she did a radio interview from her home in Montana and that she told the DJs that she was battling the flu. No one knows for sure if maybe there was a connection to that if that's what she died from. Still very sad. R.I.P. Margot. Thank you for the memories that you gave us in the Superman Trilogy movies and others.

Christopher Reeve was a real life Superman as well. After his accident he became a tireless advocate to find a cure for spinal cord injury and other nervous system disorders plus his physical improvements he made showed he really IS and was Superman. I will forever miss him and his wife Dana. I remember hearing on the radio when they died I was heading home from work and I had to pull over and cry and I still do at times to this day. I will truly admire his take on Superman because he truly brought a human side to the role and made his Superman someone who will always be your best friend.
