This trailer has the same problem as the last one and pretty much all the Supes movies since Return came out: Superman is not smiling. All the movies and trailers want to show him as serious and brooding. Aka SuperBatman. That is not who Superman is and that the fact he saves people is not why the DC universe Earth loves him. He does not give hope because he can lift cars. The core of Superman is that he is our best friend. He smiles and talks to each of us like what we say and think are important to him. It is fine for the story to push him, but for goodness sake show him smile and be friendly to people. Show him being commanding when he has to be, a guide when he needs to be and always show him as our best friend.

Glad uoull give it a shot. Understand you wanting Henry Cavil. I wanted them to knock out a Man of Steel 2 movie right after Justice League came out to build some momentum and let us see Henry play the guy who fights for Truth and Justice and the common people. But they didn't do it. And Cavil moved on to other projects. Then briefly he was back, then he was out. Now Henry is doing a true love project what with Warhammer 40,000 and you couldn't drag him away from that.. I say let's give the bright, hopeful new Superman a chance. It took giant brass Cajhones to put in Krypto, and if they make this work, we might see a bright fresh take on Bug Blue that's not afraid to go to the roots of the character and show us the guy from Smallville .
