Agreed. 47 year old man here, I’ve seen this over 100 times now and it still hits me. I still get a little teary eyed. This is a masterful trailer. This will be the first movie I ever go see in IMax. Providing humanity doesn’t place itself into extinction before then because of our own damn stupidity.

It’s the tone of the early comic and animated shows. It’s called another take on a familiar character. You can like this and still like Snyder’s version. No reason to dismiss one or the other like others seem to be doing.

It doesn't change the fact that the characterization of Superman is the best, most popular, and most loved, it is from Prime Earth, which Snyder's was nothing like Superman. This is. If I create a comic about Spider-Man, I take away his bright colors, not make jokes, make him kill, not value life, change Ben/May to tell him not to save lives, and make Peter not care about helping the little people, etc, hahaha.

I love how y'all are sheep, whatever that guy says, all of y'all say. No original thought, just sheep. Anyone who is saying it looks fanmade or cheap doesn't know anything about filmmaking, cinematography, directing, etc., as James Gunn films never look cheap, they always have incredible VFX, and the cinematography is always amazing. In this teaser, you could see so many amazing shots, visuals, framing, amazing camera work, etc., so if y'all don't know shit about what you are talking about, then don't talk about it, sheep. The MOS trailer wasn't good, just like the film wasn't good. For the most part, it had bad acting, the writing was terrible, literally killing Pa Kent in the most lazily written and stupid way. Clark could've gotten the dog out without revealing his powers, and on top of that, Clark wouldn't have let his father die, but Snyder didn't understand Superman, and he destroyed his characterization, same with Batman, Lex, etc., so no surprise. This is the real Superman, and it looks incredible. It's the most viewed and liked DC and Warner Bros. trailer of all time, not bad for something that looks cheap, huh? Hahaha. Y'all can keep rewatching the worse adaptation of Superman, while we, the fans, can finally enjoy a good Superman and cinematic universe.

@@reynaldolorenzo8409 I'm not arguing anything other than the idea that something being the most viewed makes it great. That's a non-sequitur. Popuarity doesn't equate to quality or correctness. It's just bad logic to say something like that. I mean, "Gangum Style" is one of the most viewed videos of all time, but would you ever say it's one of the greatest? I highly doubt it. Billions of people believe their religion literally true, but that doesn't make it true. I personally think it's good. It did it's job. The only thing I didn't like was the use of the old movie score. It's supposed to be a new Superman and universe, yet they recycled the old score. I know they did it for nostalgia-bait, so it was probably a smart move, but I'd rather have all new everything. Be original instead of copying; we get enough of that as it is. That was my only real gripe. I'm hoping the full trailer and movie have an original score.

@@nomadman5288 Yeah, but it's not only the views, also the likes. The teaser was very successful, and it's not unoriginal to use inspiration from the old score, that's what people think of Superman when they hear that score. It's iconic, and I don't know what you are talking about because the score of the film that JG released with the poster takes inspiration from the classic and Hans Zimmer, but the humming and a lot is original, and it's beautiful, so honestly I don't know what you are talking about.

Most watched DC and Warner Brothers trailer of all time, and top 3 behind NWH and End Game, which was the culmination of years of fanbase, the trailer is also the most liked in DC, and you have so many fans reacting to it and crying and getting teary-eyed. It's an incredible teaser and true to the character. Even this guy reacting to the trailer said it was beautiful, lol, 9/10 people are loving this. I am sorry you have bad taste and can't tell good quality.
