Superman Reveals First Look at Full Logo & Comapred to other Versions

Super excited for a fantastical take on Superman and Metropolis that will hopefully embrace the "Man/City of Tomorrow" aesthetic. I'm looking forward to seeing retro-futuristic Art Deco elements that highlight a Metropolis truly deserving of its title as the city of tomorrow. Past films often lacked personality in their depiction of the city, so this feels like a step in the right direction. From set pictures, it seems like the background civilians have a timeless fashion, very reminiscent of the 1970s. So I can’t wait to see how the final film comes together. Man of Steel blended too much with The Dark Knight, both in its depiction of Superman and Metropolis. In contrast, Superman (2025) looks nothing like a Batman film and will happily stand apart from Gotham and Batman when they’re eventually introduced. Even just comparing The Batman (2022) to Superman (2025) highlights a stark contrast in tone and aesthetic, which is exactly how it should be.

I actually really like the logo from the current animated series, “My Adventures with Superman.” It has a simplified look similar to the Kingdom Come/James Gunn logo, but has a character with its polygonal design, retaining enough of the recognizable elements of the “standard/mainstream” logo, while still managing to stand out on its own terms.

@symbolofpeacetv1578 Yeah it's pretty sad that most people that say James got is amazing really don't know anything about James Gunn and only knows what he did with Disney / MCU. And everybody wants to say oh you did a great job on Dawn of the Dead but forget that was actually a Snyder project. But yeah it's like just seeing the photos and videos that show the photos from the movie, it just doesn't look appealing at all. I mean like him getting arrested was in the pages of Man of steel. I don't see anything from this that doesn't look like something that was already done before. It has for the newer take on Batman, I just think that's terrible. Everybody wants to jump down James's gun for have then Ben Affleck playing his Batman but I think Ben Affleck did an amazing job as playing an older Batman. I mean yeah they tweaked it a little bit because the fact that well they had to put a story in the fact that Batman versus Superman was actually The dark Knight returns from the comics and they had an animated movie part 1 and part two. That's what The movie was about and they wanted to mix the death of Superman and with it and instead of it being having a Superboy being a clone of Superman and lex luthor, he used the DNA of general side to create Doomsday with his blood. So it's like all he did was tweak it a little bit because if they were going to do the story of Doomsday correctly at all, there would have been a lot more to it they would have had to explain the backstory on how Doomsday was created from kryptonians and was just killed over and over again until he got to where he was at and they would have had to build up to it, to where he tweaked it to where he wanted to combine Batman versus Superman, the death of Superman, and the clone of Superman all into one. While building up to the rise of the Justice League. And the only reason why that theater version of the movie went to to crap was because the fact that Zack Snyder had a death in the family and Warner Brothers wanted to get rid of him anyway because they couldn't stand Zack Snyder and they brought in That Josh character that worked for the MCU at one point for the avengers and he was a terrible director and he did all these edits and deletes that Warner Brothers also wanted done. So if anybody was the blame for all the superhero movies like the live action, it was Warner Brothers that let it go to crap. And with Zack Snyder's versions going terribly wrong cuz the one at all these edits and deletes, I still stay true to what I believe in is that the MCU had paid off Warner Brothers to make sure that the MCU has no competition and the superhero genre for live action films. Because if DC did an amazing job with making live action films, the MCU would be in worse shape because I'll their movies are bombing. But either way though I mean like that creatures commandos, I heard has been doing a terrible job and again go figures a James Gunn project. I mean honestly I can't even tell one thing that James going to actually did that someone else wasn't a part of or hasn't done before because you did a terrible job on The guardians of the Galaxy cuz he focused on making it a comical relief kind of project and he downplayed a lot of characters and yes Star-Lord does have a father who is an alien but not even close on having it where Ego was his father

WW, Aquaman and SHAZAM! got better reviews and they didn’t even have Snyder on board.
