I grew up on Christopher Reeve as Superman, so when I heard the music, the kid in me instantly came out. NGL- I still am disappointed that Henry Cavill is not here, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited for this film. Big and aloof Clark Kent, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific ... and Krypto. Lex Luthor looks like he will be despicable. Something to look forward to in July.

Yeah im coming in with alot of faith for Gunn. I adore the entire Guardians Trilogy (best next to Caps) and think its some of the best of what Marvel could be. And loved his version of suicide squad even when you can see the hooks WB needed him to us, it was fantastic. Given he said itll be less “jokey” i think thats a perfect change from the GotG to fit Supes. Super excited for this. And honestly, i loved Cavill and if they actually let him be himself he would have rivaled Reeves, but its only up from Snyders.

Well, perhaps I wouldn’t judge the entirety of the movie based off of a single scene that we don’t know the context of? Not that I disagree with the overall sentiment, it has been a frustrating run for DC I feel. Up and down, sometimes a great cast, but a bad story, or a cast that can’t be kept. I just want some accuracy, and continuity. I guess I always have high hopes and low expectations. That being said, let’s just hope it’s good, a turnaround. The characters and the fans deserve a good iteration I think. Christopher Reeves version had some moments where he was bested and bled, perhaps not as dramatic but the diner scene comes to mind.
