"Take me home." That sums it up. The character has been all over the place since he first appeared, but under it all, at its best, was hope, idealism. Siegel & Shuster took an idea the Nazis turned into pure evil, and said "The True Superman would want to help people, not conquer them. He might fail at times, but he'd never stop trying." This is taking it back to the 40's and 50's. Without forgetting all that came after, and certainly not overlooking all the change for the good that's happened since then. Superman still makes sense, because he's the ideal we strive for. We never get there. But it's the attempt that matters.

@@QRedknight I want a justice league movie so bad! I would be down for the syndicate in a justice league movie, but maybe the 3rd or 4th. I want them to cook in this universe for a bit. Earth 2 is interesting but the question will be does our new DC universe have the justice society. If it does I’m ok not having earth 2.
