What about Superman's weakness to nuclear radiation!? Hulk emits it during devastating fights. Does he not!? Superman has a deathly weakness to nuclear power in which Hulk thrives on. After a few good attacks from Superman, Hulk would already be swelling in overwhelming power. The very moment Hulk begins to emit gamma radiation is when Superman will drastically drop down from the potential to win to a fight to survive. I've listed so many comments/references about this topic in countless video. Hulk would obliterate Superman 10/10

@Cynicalsinister you are sorely mistaken! Nuclear radiation is a broad term that describes all types of radiation that are produced from unstable atomic nuclei. GAMMA radiation is the most potent and dangerous of them all. So, in short, nuclear is gamma and vice versa. Superman has been shown to have a severe weakness to nuclear radiation, and there's nothing anyone can say that will denounce that. To deny that is to be a completely biased and ignorant person. There have been multiple characters developed to counter this weakness, such as Atomic Skull, Nuclear Man, etc... Yes, he is written to overcome them, but he wouldn't be a superhero if he didn't. So, in a confrontation against a being that is fueled by nuclear power, gamma radiation will inevitably lead to Superman being defeated. I gotta ask why is it so hard for people to accept that!?!?!?!?!

@Cynicalsinister I gotta add that he has been shown on multiple occasions within the comics, TV shows, and in live action movies to have this weakness. One man made nuclear explosion leaves him in a withered zombie like state and he desperately needs to take in more sun light to heal up. ONE MAN-MADE NUKE does this to him. So a barrage of gamma radiating punches from a pissed off Hulk would decimate Superman faster than Doomsday's ass whippin' on the big blue boy scout

Superman takes it most the time and reason why I say that is .taking the example from wwh hulk where hulk is fighting sentry basically to a stand still before reverting back to banner ...if sentry can do that to hulk so can Superman and there is no "human form" for Kal to revert back to as he's not human neither is doomsday who's kryptonian like Kal is .sentry stale mating hulk proves that with enough brute strength no matter how strong is his anger has threshold has limits .also the doomsday/hulk comparison makes no sense as hulk can be put down the same way every time..doomsday can't making him superior to hulk not a equal

Silver age superman could defeat any version of the hulk. Superman can time travel. Hulk can not. Superman seeing this fight is going to get nasty and destroy lives and more will use his time travel ability to push hulk to the end of time. Hulk will be stuck at the end of time. Hulk will die and not be able to come back using the green door because he is stuck at the end of time. No time no hulk. At least hulk in his final moments will get his last wish. Hulk will be alone. Superman will have again saved the day for all. Superman has used this ability to stop Titano the giant ape by pushing him to the past and trapping him there.

I'm not saying Superman is weak, and the same goes for Hulk-they’re pretty comparable in terms of potential. As Hero Villain mentioned, Hulk's base level strength is unclear, and no one really knows his base stats. In the 2012 Avengers movie, Hulk transforms instantly and punches the Leviathan, stopping it in its tracks and knocking it out. If you estimate based on that, his punching force could be in the millions of tons since the Leviathan is said to weigh around 800 tons without armor, and with the speed it was moving towards Hulk, his punch could easily be in that range. If I had to choose power-wise, I’d pick Hulk. Superman's power relies too much on external energy, mainly solar radiation. His strength comes from storing solar energy in his cells and converting it into physical force, without changing his physiology-he just uses solar energy as strength. Hulk, on the other hand, is all about raw, natural strength fueled by anger and powered by muscle. If I were in a situation where I wasn’t sure if there was sunlight and im afraid to fight, I’d trust Hulk to fight and survive without worry. i will let it go rampage in an unknown predatory planet. But again i prefer Hulk and i favor hulk too, so its kinda bias here. I believe if you are the one and only existence, u are without a doubt to be the strongest there is. If you belong in a large group of race like superman, u going to come with many weakenss and flaws which to me is not sustainable , and it usually tend to be much weaker than the only race of himself, i feel like its this way becuase the universe can only have enough power to create one limitless potential being. Same goes for Doomsday.

@ghostlyguardian2798 there's a few reasons why hardly anyone would ever put Hulk over Superman. Biggest and most annoying being biased fanboyism! Another is ignorance to facts, and another is simply fear of getting into a heated debate with those very same fanboys. I, for one, don't care about having a decent conversation with them. I prefer stating the obvious truth that Superman is inevitably going to lose against Hulk. The most important fact that proves this is Superman's weakness to nuclear radiation. Some people go about saying he's immune or that he has never had the weakness or that he has come to overpower the weakness. There's 2 versions of Superman that overcame his weakness to kryptonite, which are Kingdom Come Superman and Superman 1mil. K.C. Superman did so with a proper explanation, which was years of exposure to solar energy, which allowed him to eventually overcome kryptonite. On the other hand, Superman 1mil is a direct contradiction to his very character. He was never stated to have the ability to withstand nuclear radiation, he was always depicted to end up looking like a withered zombie every time he took a nuclear explosion straight to the face without have an ocean to absorb most of the blast... yet DC decided it was a magnificent idea to power Superman up by flying directly into the sun. Wait, isn't the sun millions upon millions of nuclear explosions PER SECOND!?!?! 🤔 Superman literally should've never been written in that way to become stronger. Maybe at the bare minimum, have him orbiting the sun, such as in close proximity to it. But no, they threw him into the sun and ran with it. Anyways, by definition of his character, any story from the very moment he flew into the sun are technically in violation of his character development which should realistically mean he died and all those stories are undeniably flawed attempts to power him up. Hulk is fueled by gamma radiation, which is the most potent type of radiation from nuclear power. So during a fight between Hulk and Earth 1 Superman (new 52/ the most used version), Hulk would obliterate Superman the very moment Hulk begins to emit gamma radiation. This level of power would most likely be reached within the first few powerful attacks from Superman to the Hulk. Like I said before, it would be an inevitable defeat for Superman, and Hulk would always come out the winner because of his ability to generate gamma energy from all the ambient energies around him. Another point I make that is purely based in real-world science is solar radiation is weaker than gamma radiation so by this alone proves Hulk has the better potential for overpowering in a fight between them.

@godzillazou4691 I like your stance in this topic. One small thing to add to your description of the Hulk. He is fueled by gamma radiation which he absorbs from all the ambient energies around him. This goes to fuel his ability to get stronger the angrier he gets. He is similar to Superman in regards to gaining power from an external source. Superman gets his from solar energy while Hulk gets it from ambient energies primarily gamma radiation. Anyway, I undoubtedly believe that Hulk has the potential to always beat Superman in their current state.

@@jessevargas8564 oh ok, from what i understood is that i thought the Hulk doesn’t need to absorb more gamma radiation to get stronger. His strength is tied to his emotional state, particularly his anger. The gamma radiation exposure during the initial accident permanently altered his DNA, enabling the transformation into the Hulk. However, in certain situations, absorbing additional gamma radiation can boost his powers temporarily, but it is not necessary for his continued strength or transformation. I believe his power is more internal. The initial gamma explosion caused him to change his DNA at a molecular level, turning his cells into gamma cells. As he gets angry, these gamma cells become agitated and rapidly replicate, triggering his transformation into a super-dense, muscular beast. His anger fuels the replication process, continuously generating gamma cells inside his body like a generator, which is why he emits that greenish gamma aura around his body. Because of this, I don’t think he needs to absorb gamma radiation to get stronger-his power is rooted in the physiological changes within him. As he calms down the cell starts to die off due to no more rage fuel to sustain it. So i think hulk is the gamma itself at this point. he just needs fuel to activate it. Again, thats how i think, others may think differently

It wouldn't be a long fight. Both have incalculable strength but you add speed and Superman's other powers into the mix and Hulk doesn't stand a chance. Barry Allen has been written to have thrown the most powerful punch in DC due to his speed. Take a guy (Superman) who is slightly slower than Allen, but infinitely stronger and more durable, throwing that punch. Hulk is a one trick pony. He loses this fight and it's probably not even close.
