I just updated mine and it's fantastic! I use MainStage with many guitar plugins, and this update has significantly enhanced my virtual rig. I think being able to customize the text displayed on the screen when pressing a button, rather than just seeing PC or CC, would be an excellent improvement.

As others have stated Super Mode is great!. One issue I have though is that in ledmode=normal, the initial LED state is wrong. On power up (or page change), the buttons all display their state 1 LED color. But they are not really in state 1 because pressing the button once sends the state 1 messages and the color remains the same. Pushing button second time sends the state 2 messages and color. On a third press (for a keytimes=2 button), it again sends state 1 message and color. So logically, the INITIAL color should be the LAST keytimes color, not the first. (Or maybe there could be an ledcolor0 setting for each button to set the initial color directly and not change the current behavior) Just a thought.

Another comment on this. My comments above are based on the 10 switch model. I just picked up a mini 6 as well and it behaves slightly differently. On the mini 6, all buttons initialize to off on startup. So while this isn't as good as my suggestion of being able to define the initial state (or initializing to the "times" last state), in my case it works better than the 10 because I do interpret the last times state as an OFF state and my first state is an ON state (ie, CC value 0=OFF vs CC value 127=ON). So at least with the mini 6 the first click does correctly turn from visually OFF to visually ON. (I represent my OFF state with a single LED on the button and ON with all three, but all off is close enough to the single light off state to be ok). None of this is a big deal as I just have to click through all of the buttons on the 10 on startup (twice each) to get the LED to match my actual CC state, but a simple extra configuration to definite the initialize would be nice.

Is there any chance there is an update to super mode 4.0 coming any time soon? The issue described here is still a significant issue in my opinion. My specific use case here is trying to get the led colors to sync with the state of an HX stomp effect on page change, and as is there is simply no way too do it because, as I describe, the initial state of the LED is ledcolor1 and this is simply wrong. It would be really awesome to see support for "ledcolor0" in the next release.

This mode makes this product very close to perfection. I would like to suggest some features, however, that I believe would bring a lot of value to this controller: - SysEx (ability to send SysEx whenever you could send PC, CC or Note, which include different SysEx binary for each button event type, each page and each MIDI Channel). This for me would be a total game changer. - Ability to scroll through banks without selecting them, for example you can tap up up up to go to a certain bank number (it would show blinking in the interface) and then commit the change by pressing Bank+ and Bank- at the same time. This would make sense together with the next suggestion. - Ability to send multiple commands upon Bank Selection. This way you can set Bank as Song, Preset as Song Part. When you commit to a bank, you start your backing track and switch to your intro patch, during the song you use the preset buttons to toggle between the multiple parts of it. - Ability to have exact the same gestures but for a pair of buttons. For example, buttons A+B together would act as a completely new button, so we could have tap, long tap, release, long release for that pair. That makes more sense between buttons that are side by side or aligned vertically, of couse, but if memory is not a problem it could work for any combination of 2 buttons, which would increase the number of possibilities per page from 8 to 36.

@@Wilson-PaintAudio interesting... i am using it in Presonus Studio One (Artist ed.), which exposes most of the midi controllable parameters in the plugin instance in each channel. The UI doesn't seem to register CC changes directly, but are you saying it only notices PC and not CC? Also please check your email, I sent you something I did to make editing the config files really easy!

Really happy with the new setup process with Supermode! I find it very powerful and intuitive. If I can suggest a feature for the future, I wish I could set my tap switch to send MIDI clock or send a continuously repeating CC command. Some VST plugins don't sync to the project tempo when switching presets. I want to keep everything synced up at all times!

This feature is achievable, but we are just starting to prepare it. We will also fix the issue of MIDI MATE ignoring MIDI channels of different commands, but this will take some time.

It would not be hard to make led feedback I suppose, but to make screen feedback via midi cannot be a simple task... Names, looper states, images... There should be some kind of specification for that process...

The bidirectional communication version for the KPP has become a dedicated firmware version. I need to port it from the previous 6-pin version to the 10-pin version, which will also be released soon.

Can you please make a video how to use HID control options. I bought it and having lots of problem with it. When I first ordered it, I received a defective unit and just crashed after couple minutes of use and never turned on again. I bought a second one, hoping this would work without any issues. I really want to use HID control but it's very confusing how to enable it on HID mode. I just want to use this as a keyboard foot controller. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The only thing that is missing in super mode is the possiblity with a message to go to another page. For example If I long press pedal C I want to go to the looper page, if I long press pedal B I want to go to the preset page etc etc. basically instead of long pressing the page up/ down button to have the possibility to put the bank switch in any footswitch

Is there a way to sync the states of switches with effects on/off state on HX Stomp? I think the Stomp can send out the MIDI CCs when loading a snapshot, is it possible to make the MIDI Captain change the keytime state accordingly?

it would be great to add a function for page switching in next way: short_dw1 = [page][+][1][ ]- for page increacement by 1 and short_dw1 = [page][goto][7][ ] - for page 7 targeting so we can switch pages fast, and have ability to make a page (entering with single button) with 10 pages to go from

抱歉time engine 只有在normal mode下有，一个困难点是，目前geek / super 再加入时间引擎确实不太容易，而且time engine在的情况下，也不宜进行太复杂的命令控制，也会降低时间触发的时机精度，我会想想是否有折中的办法。

@@aleixobruno Previously, most of the program space was occupied by wallpapers. Now, we only retain one wallpaper. If you want to change the wallpaper, you can copy it from your computer. This way, program updates can be much faster and less prone to errors.

I know WIlson doesn't seem to come back here often but I have a question for owners of this, and a suggestion for Wilson if he's still active anywhere. Does anyone else have issues connecting this unit to Windows 11 for USB updating? I just keep getting a "there is a problem with this drive" warning and it keeps unmounting so is impossible to update over USB. Luckily we have an old Mac (2009 unbelievably) that seems to work fine but the main Windows PC just won't interact with it at all. If anyone else found this, did you fix it at all? Wilson: A couple of suggestions for the LED states: 1) Ability to define a [on] and [off] colour (other than just the on colour) in [NORMAL] or [SELECT] mode without having to use [keytimes] if you only want it be a single press pedal. For example in HXSN mode, have the Sanpshot buttons able to have just one of the LEDs lit if not active, then have all three light up when pressed, while defaulting the other buttons back to the single light. Makes knowing which snapshot you're on easier especially if using the pedal with Helix Native not an HX Stomp. I've not tried yet, but that MIGHT be possible using [SELECT] mode and [KEYTIMES] together but that makes all 8 main buttons SELECT which isn't what I'd want. Which brings me to ---> 2) Abilty to split 1-4 and A-D into different [SELECT] banks so it would be possible to have one row operate as [NORMAL] while the other operated in [SELECT], or two distinct [SELECT] banks that are independent of each other.

I installed it but found it very confusing. Went back to 3.4 Not having a editor is a deal breaker. It is very hard to understand how to program as you explain functions. It is not clearly explain how to seup as there is to much information and jumping around through different topics is confusing. I like the product but you need an editor and a clear way of how to edit.
