I've only opened supermotos so far. Drz400sm and now I'm rocking a CRF 450 in supermoto trim. I just love the config and passing sport bikes on the outside of turns at the track. With that said I'm excited to try an electric bike and hopefully a SM!
@Adeysworld6 жыл бұрын
wartrain12 With a electric bike, you’ll pull out of corners way faster. The torque they generate is unfair.
@wartrain126 жыл бұрын
Agreed, the torque and power is there. With linear power band and no gears to shift, electric is undeniable in my opinion. I also think it'll take skill and practice to get the power down. Can't wait. I read Yamaha is working on an E-YZ bike for 2020. Once these things get more popular...and affordable..it may be a wrap. Gas bikes(and cars) are not going anywhere

Looked like a blast bro! Will be on the lookout for the MX comparison. Me and my cousin product sketch comedy videos based on real-life riding scenarios and would really appreciate some feedback from you! Stay safe out there.

What's "fun" is that now you have a bike with a 240mm tire, so you can have even bigger chicken strips than before ahah

Don't worry I ride the hell out of it! Matter of fact I put 21.000kms on mine this year. But why did you get so offended though? Is it because it's true? :D

When you make those hard turns leaning do you throttle while leaning?
@Adeysworld6 жыл бұрын
Ruthless Bone Yes there is throttle application applied while cornering.
@Ruthlessbone6 жыл бұрын
Adeysworld appreciate it bro!
@edwardtcrump53126 жыл бұрын
You should always be gentle introducing throttle at high lean though. And generally, depending on how much power/grip you have you should be metering the amount of throttle you apply according to your lean angle. On race rubber, at the track, on a 600 supersport, after gently introducing throttle you can pretty much pin it even at high lean angles. Not so on a 1000. If any of those factors are compromised however (tyre temperature, surface quality and temp, high torque/power bike) you should be more cautious. Be careful about heavily increasing throttle when tipping in to a corner and increasing lean angle. This is where a lot of novices come unstuck. It's a common mistake to slow down to much for a corner, then apply more throttle to speed up again, whilst turning in. probably the most common way for less advanced riders to highside.

Don't look for riding technique on this guys channel. IF you want to see how Supermoto is ridden on track look at who knows how to do it and then come back to this video and see the difference. Here is how it's done: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHe5q2N8qLqgmbsm15s
