I never prepared my daughter for a new baby. She was about 18 months. 2 year getting dressed by herself. Ridiculous. She’s still a baby. Not even potty trained yet.,I totally disagree with her advice.

Actually, no, at two she is NOT still a baby. She is a toddler. Big difference. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her advice. Many people who don't prepare their toddler for a new baby wind up with a very angry/aggressive/jealous child. Problems that can easily be nipped in the bud by doing a few small things to prepare a toddler for a new baby. Besides, what's so wrong with her advice? She literally just said to let the kid do things for herself, like getting dressed (which most toddlers are starting to want to do anyway as around 2 is the age when most toddlers start asserting their independence), and to make sure you have age-appropriate toys for you toddler and get rid of baby toys. Nothing wrong with that at all.
