Secret Rings had me so hyped up because that was my first Sonic game, so much nostalgia. Jason Griffith is still best Sonic, that first cutscene in Black Knight when he legit got summoned into a new world, and there's a dude in a bunch of armor in front of him he's just like "Don't worry, I'm used to things like this." That shit was great, and the delivery was great too

I also miss serious Sonic, I miss how he used to be back in the 2000s. Back then, Sonic knew when it was time to joke around and when it was time to be serious, he didn't treat everything like one big joke. If Sonic Forces had written Sonic the way he was written in Secret Rings or Unleashed, then its story probably would've had more emotional weight to it, especially the part where Sonic was stated to be tortured for six months.

The writers and directors are the reason Roger Sonic is so bad. Play Wonderful 101. It's a generally goofy game, but it's got plenty of serious moments, typically centered around Wonder Blue, whom Roger voices and does a GOOD job with.

Because of this vid you’ve gotten a longtime subscriber now. We pretty much thought the same with every vid that was on here especially about “06”. The game with the greatest potential. Honestly, I haven’t played another sonic game after “Unleashed” I don’t think I was ready for the voice change in “Colors” and its not like it was bad. The new mechanics with the aliens actually looked fun. I just couldn’t get passed the voice for a while. The new “Sonic Frontier” though actually has me hyped.
