Case in point: this episode, the Drano drinking in the first episode of the season, the sheer glorious nastiness of the Christmas episode -- in the third season they pushed gore and sheer gross horror nastiness further than ever. After season three, the average of the pure nastiness decreases. Not by a ton, but noticeably.

Yeah, it makes the odd appearance here or there, but for the most part we don't have episode after episode that are just heave-inducing.

Season 3 is the season that sets up basically everything going forward all the way to the series finale. Season 4 is when things REALLY ramp up and a few of the best characters are introduced. Every episode we get closer to 4x01! See you next Wed!

I will say only this in regards to Ruby, your reactions and feelings toward her are EXACTLY the same as mine were. 😄 I remember not loving this episode the first time I watched it, but I enjoy it more every time I re-watch it. It does have a LOT of info in it. The witch stuff is DEFINITELY dee-sgust-ing!!! Love Dean's reaction to the bunny! "Why does the rabbit always get screwed in the deal?! Poor little guy." Amen, Dean!! LOL!!! Loving your reactions to Season 3. Can't wait for next week. Episode 10 is one of my favourites of the season. :)

This episode was pretty good, we got to know about demons and how they were humans tortured in hell... it's the introduction to witches - and how disgusting they can be lol
