Sigh as much as I respect Jared I don't think he makes a very convincing Lucifer. He seems more like a bitter Sam. Maybe the actor playing Lucifer did so good a job that it's hard to copy I don't know. Doesn't work for me.

Honestly, yeah. I was talking with my friend (I'm in my first watch through, he's rewatched it many times) and I was saying that it would've hit differently if it was Dean being possessed by Michael.

I love this vid ! But, I've got a stupid question : If Michael was supposed to kill Lucifer, what is the point in building the Cage ? I mean, he wasn't supposed to need it, right ? If you kill someone, you don't need to put them into a frigging prison ? I really don't get the point (but I'm glad it happened, because it gives us a chance to get Sam, and maybe Adam and the archbros back), so if someone could help me understand, that'be fantastic. Thanks ! (I'm fond of Michael and Luci, so...)

(I know I'm late, but) Essentially, because it was God's Plan. He didn't want Lucifer to be killed so soon. He wanted this to play out. (I'm only on season 11, so I am not 100% certain that it was God's plan, but it's how it's played out in the prophecy)
