FYI for the clueless people; Lucifer is THE Archangel, not just anyone can be his vessel (this was stated since season 5) they need someone unique, someone special just like Dean was for Michael and Sam was Lucifer but because he couldn't have Sam he took Nick. Like Yoda felt a darkness in Anakin or Luke did with Kylo Ren Lucifer felt that potential in Nick. This episode proved that Nick was a bad guy even before their deaths, he was also cunning and strong willed hence why he engineered his family deaths, to break him and send him spiraling into that darkness he felt.

@@LeaderOfTheLostSouls in the season finale of season 13 dean stabbed Lucifer he dies there's no way that nick should still be Alive we have seen many times when an angel gets brutally stabbed like that the person that's also inside the body dies to like Uriel in season 4

@@angelaholmes8888 I see where you are coming from it could be a retcon for Plot but to be fair we never seen an Arch Angel get stabbed and die for reason, like Raphael got his first vessel turned into salt then he was snapped into bloody mess by Leviathan amped Cas, Gabriel did die from a stab but there was no host and he made his body a copy of Loki so eh it isn’t the same as Lucifer’s death, and Micheal got pulled out and exploded so no one arch Angel really did get stabbed like Lucifer with a host inside, just saying. It is them stretching shit for sure but again it’s not that big of a deal and it lead to Nick which I found very interesting lol

The retcon to what happened to nick’s family is COMPLETELY BULLSHIT. Pardon my language but the revelation that Lucy had nick’s family killed makes no sense whatsoever dakarajayne. WHY WOULD LUCY GO THROUGH ALL THE TROUBLE TO GET THIS ONE GUY TO BE HIS VESSEL!?!?!?!? What was so special about him? It almost ruins season 5 for me because of this stupid retcon

@Pro Jey96 the damage is why go through all the trouble to have this one guy say yes to being a vessel. Lucy could’ve chosen ANYBODY IN THE WORLD but settled on nick for no reason
