I started watching Supernatural like last year and I had NO IDEA about Castiel either, I knew he was character in the show but had no idea who he was. Oddly enough I went in not even knowing Sam and Dean were hunters. I thought the show was called Supernatural cuz the brothers were like supernatural creatures or something. Then I was watching the PILOT and was educated rather quickly.

There are countless classic moments in this show that is have trouble identifying the season, even. But this is special.

I remember how much my wife and I were amazed at this episode. Not to spoil anything, but remember how awesomely powerful angels are in this episode and this season. But by the 15th season, meh. Powerful, but killable. This happens in a lot of series. Like in Buffy, where she barely escaped from an Ubervamp with her life, but by the end, even her friends could kill them. But still, Castiel is my favorite character of the whole series next to Dean.

Michael Jackson voice: you are not alone! We’ve all been where you’re currently at. In all the reactions I’ve seen no one has guessed what pulled Dean out of hell. I was completely clueless on my first go around on this episode. I couldn’t even fathom where this was going even after all the cosmic talk by Ruby. Sam exorcising that demon in the diner blew me away when I first saw it. I could not believe what I was seeing. That was insane!! It would have been the main highlight of the episode of not for the end. Demons getting their eyes 👀 burned out, being petrified and Pamela the psychic losing her 👀 too. I know this was a lot to digesting one sitting. I figured your rating system would have to change after this episode because it’s off the chart. An Angel 👼 of the Lord?? Really?? Holy shit, you’ve gotta be kidding me! It’s a lot to process when you think of all the other evil things they’ve come across. You’re gonna need another rating system to continue the season, TRUST ME! I would not steer you wrong. That was a Supernatural classic and legends episode and there’s more to come. You thought season 3 was great, well just wait. You might have an aneurysm watching this show. But we’ll all be there by your bedside to comfort you. See you soon.
