I agree Season 5's finale was perfect as it could have gotten to an ending. Did anyone else love the big picture of the finale? I mean the one where Dean struggles to 'save his brother', and gets told by everyone even their own father and himself, - that he can't do it. But then he does. :) The idea is as beautiful as this video.

wow dean's got a lot of angst scenes in the series huh? anyway i'm glad the show's not over just yet. in my opinion all the seasons were good. i liked all the different plots they had with each new season and it's interesting now this season with dean defending monsters like benny and sam isn't so thrilled with dean's choices.

my opinion of supernatural is that its not just a show! when im bored, i watch it, when im sad and feeling down, i watch it!, when i want something to entertain me i watch it! i have watched seasons 1-4 like at least 15 times or more! the newer seasons only a few times each! but i still love it, the only thing that bothers me is that the humor is slightly moving away and that was always one of its best features!

i have to agree with you. its one of my favorite shows, and season 6 wasnt terrible, but i could barely watch this last season. 1-5 were phenomenal. i hate to see my shows end but i'd rather them end on a high note than watch them lose steam.

ok life changes You can't just cancel a series cos someone says 'oh it's not funny anymore' it was always funny but life does have dark moments you have to finish it RIGHT that's the difference! The actors,writers,viewers AND characters are all older now so to finish it you round it off PROPERLY -EVEN if that means they walk off into a sunset to continue their life while you get on with yours just tie up loose ends and finish it with no questions left cos that really grates!!

There are things they could do in Season8 that would make 7 retroactively amazing. Things related to Cas going pacifistic and his hippie change in The End in Ssn5, things with Lucifer and Sam. 8 will run through 2013. If a 9th gets greenlit, it'll go through 2014. The same year that The End takes place in.
