i love watching ronnie kick selbys arse more than anyone.selby is just boring and a bottler when it comes to potting.he just grinds and breaks players down before actually trying to build a break and its dull to watch.ronnie just took him apart in this game

the game itself is a zero-sum competition. Applying tactics is both rational and reasonable. Don't you think Mark Selby brought out the better version of Ronnie? In the end, it all about pushing each other and develop the snooker game

Exactly,selby is very boring he thinks he's so good but Ronnie is greater than anyone and I think they make Ronnie hold back and give these other players a chance. Only because Ronnie is that good when he tries

I have said this a million times over Selby is a world class player there's no denying that. But against Ronnie he takes extra time picking his shot when we all know that he's gonna do, puts all the colors tight on the cushions making break building nearly impossible and goes around the table 10 times before doing his shot stance routine and this why I will never be a Selby fan. Im all about tactical playing but please understand that fans want matches to be fluid and entertaining. Selby wants frames to last an hour. It's just boring. He can compete against Ronnie but he chooses to play like watching paint drying. To be fair to him on the last world Championship he played very attractive snooker and I hope that he's well off his depression and starts to realize that playing the way he was it simply wasn't fun.

Mark Selby is a safety first player. If there is a half chance, he would rather or has a tendency to play a safety shot. Winning to them is everything. Snooker will suffer in popularity if he and similar players dominate the sport because they are dull, slow and lack of creativity in shot making. Ronnie, Mark Williams, Judd Trump, Luca Brecel and other attacking players that generate excitement and bring crowds to the sporting arena.

Selby is a great player but his stalling tactics are out of order. Players inc Ebdon know that Ron likes a fluent game and to throw his focus is to take a couple of days to take a shot.

Maybe someone can explain this to me, when your next shot is a color and you don't have a potable shot, why do you have to designate a ball? You can hit any color other than a red, you don't have to call a color you can pot, so why call a color you can't pot?

Because if you completely snooker yourself and can't see any colours, and you attempt the yellow ball - if you miss you give your opponent 4point.. but if you hit the blue instead you'd give away 5pts. If you attempt to hit the pink and miss, you give away 6 points. Simple rules.

No! You cannot hit just any colour. You have to hit the one you are going for and if it's not obvious then the referee will ask which one that is. Hit a different one and that's a foul!
