Cas would have had to take on the Mark of Cain himself, this time, in order to make the spell work - originally, Lucifer took it on to banish Amara. That's how we know Chuck's telling the truth about the fast-forwarding pocket watch - it's literally already *in progress* and Chuck mentions 'as long as Dean and Cas *don't screw up their part*' - which means, as long as they got through Purgatory and got out, his plan would keep moving along as scheduled. It's like an episode of 24 or something lol From the way I understood it as Cas explained, someone - either Sam or Dean - would have to break the orb and it would set off the spell, causing the Mark to bind to Cas and give him enough juice to put Chuck away (sort of like Jack - if he were a Pokemon). But yeah, since neither Sam nor Dean destroy the orb, the spell is basically ruined and can't be replicated (unless they go through alll that Purgatory bullshit again, somehow, which NOPE NO THANK YOU), so Cas is Mark-free and safe! But I'm SO glad I have an extra box of tissues, if you need some. Legit, I've watched that prayer scene over and over again now and I still cry. Good grief, but Jensen is such a good actor (and Misha, and Jared and Rob and literally everybody else omg - but yeah, I agree, Eileen leaving was messed up, but she won't stay gone for long - because Cas didn't ;).

In the flash forward, Dean buried Cas alive in that Malek Box. I don't think Cas has the mark because they didn't trap God. That's the only way it works. Sam was going to take on the mark toward the end of season 11 after trying to trap Amara again. It almost worked. So, Cas is safe for now. Now, I want to see Jack and Team Free Will 2.0 reunited. I'm glad Dean apologized, and their broken bond can begin healing.

I THINK the reason we got all those adpocalypses while Chuck was around, is that he liked watching the boys go through hell, since they're his "favorite show". he enjoyed it too much to allow it to end, so he kept bending the rules and helping them out when there was nothing else they could do, while still throwing whatever he could at them to keep himself entertained. he didn't want the adpocalypses to stop, but he wasn't going to let the world (and his muppet show) end either. once chuck is gone, things will go the way they were supposed to go according to the "natural order". the monsters take over because god isn't there to prevent them from doing it. idk if that makes any sense and english isn't my first lenguage so don't come at me if there are any mistakes.

I think Chuck is keeping a sort of gate on the monsters like, he sort of population controls them, and if he’s gone then that gate bursts and ALL the monsters come out. And We know chuck can make anything happen but I think the futures he showed Sam were his drafts of what can happen, cause he’s written the end over and over and over. So what chuck showed him was probably his drafts. I understand Eileen needing to leave because chuck basically said “So I’ve been using you as my little window, and here see I can make you do what I want, now hurt Sam” like I get she needed to leave because she didn’t know what was real. And Sam kissing her was a step for her to know ‘all of him, all of Sam and me that’s real’ But I think Chuck is being honest to an extent of ‘I can show you the ends, and each one ends the same way.’ I think that’s what all the books Billie has of the boys deaths are. Each one is another draft that god wrote up. And only one is different and the true ending. I AM EMOTIONAL AND I AM NOT OKAY CAUSE SAILEEN IS END GAME

16:09 regarding your question about how Chuck has helped with the 2 Apocalypses and the monster situation over the years , chuck actually helped in stopping both Apocalypses , in the first one he helped as chuck telling dean where sam is at the end of season 4 ,telling dean where the final battle between Lucifer and Michael would take place at the end of season 5 and as god he brought back cas at the end of both seasons 4,5 and in season 7. Just imagine what would've happened to the boys if Cas just died at the end of season 4, cas literally saved the boys' lives in 5x01 from Zachariah when he was giving dean stomach cancer and threatening to kill Sam if dean doesn't say yes to Michael, in the second Apocalypse he helped in a more direct manner as god to defeat amara after he revealed himself to the boys, as for the monsters as we see in next episode that god has been helping the boys all the time by giving them extra luck and making sure they stay alive coz they're the heroes of his show, also god and amara are like yin and yang , chuck represent light while amara represent darkness , so just by existing they give our world balance , if light disappears that means there is only darkness, it's not about what they do (chuck and amara) it's about what they are , just by existing, chuck ensures that the good side has a chance, so I do believe what he shows Sam here to be true, especially when we see that Cas was about to take the mark, chuck's problem is not that he doesn't help, it's how he helps, while he can end all bad things himself as easy as snapping his fingers , he prefers helping the winchesters do it, he likes to play the smallest role like prophet chuck to keep the boys as the heros which of course sucks for them, he basically enjoys the winchester dramatic soap opera with monsters that it is their life. So they can't defeat chuck without finding a replacement to represent the light in the universe and keep the balance between good and evil. They need the new yang. A one that doesn't screw up their lives.

Okay, just to clarify some things: Cas didn't end up with the Mark because the spell didn't happen. Also, remember they weren't trying to kill Chuck. They were trying to trap him the same way (supposedly) that Amara had been trapped before. (If they outright killed him, I'd assume they'd be back to the situation they faced at the end of Season 11 where the sun was dying because the balance between Light and Dark was out of wack.) Speaking of which, I think that's what Chuck was supposed to be getting at. (So, this next part is my best guess based on what we've seen before.) That his presence helps to keep things in balance. So, if he were locked-up in Amara's old prison, maybe the sun wouldn't be dying, but the balance still wouldn't be even, and it would manifest in more monsters coming out of the woodwork. (Or, with Chuck out of the picture, they'd see it as a good opportunity, and they'd actually get organized. Because remember back in Season 13's "Breakdown" we found out that there are a LOT more monsters out there than they had guessed, because a lot of them could pass as "normal".) In any event, I think he was referring more to Cosmic Forces at work than anything he's consciously doing or not doing. (Because also remember, we found out that neither Chuck nor Amara were consciously making the sun go dark. It was just happening as a result of things being out of balance.) About Cas in the Alt Future Vision: I don't think Cas was actually dead. If the Mark of Chuck behaves at all like the Mark of Cain did, it won't let him die too easily. And it's bloodthirsty, so I'm guessing he went off the rails and they had to build another Drama Coffin and get him into it and then bury it somewhere. But he would still be alive in there, with the Mark. Maybe not a comforting thought, but that would be the only way to preserve the Key and the Lock. I TOTALLY AGREE that those vampire effects were on the cheesy side! I get what the story was trying to do, but those effects kind of made it fail. *LOL* And OMG THAT KISS!!!!!!!! (*goes a little insane*) This is definitely in opinion territory, and I totally respect yours for feeling frustrated. For me, I was sad, but I also understood. And I got the feeling Sam did too. He knows what it's like to have your free will taken from you, to have your body used to hurt other people, people you care about. He knows how it can make you question your own reality. And she just found out that her being brought back to life was engineered by Chuck just to offer some drama to this story. Also, maybe she's afraid that he could do the same thing to her again? Control her to make her hurt her friends, or just spying on them like before. So, I do get it. I'm just SO glad that Sam let her know how he really felt before she left. (And, personally, I didn't take it as a break-up so much as her just needing some space.) Anyway, those are some of my main thoughts on it! I enjoyed your reactions, and I'm honestly excited to see Garth again!

Its always heartbraking when Sam Looses Hope :( He has always represebted that, after what he has to pass through he has been able to stand up Hopfull, and keep going. Hell, he has been able to drag Dean with him too!! Dean has say it before. But when the risk affects others aside of Him and Dean, Sam just can't take it... He would never let someone else get involve or die, so he couldn't take the risk and give up hope... But I have to say that the Hope thing makes sense. Just think about it, the fact of Sam's Hope being able to overpowered God's Will is so interesting. He say it himself, he tried to cure himself, but he couldn't, and didn't know why until he descovers Sam's hope was making him powerless. Put it in a real life situation there are people who, when they are suffering a Tragedy, sometimes say "It's God's Will" or "It is in God's hands now". But this is showing us that nothing can help us beyond ourself, that Hope will keep us going forward, Hope is the most powerfull thing, much powerfull than any external presence. We have to Have Hope, not depending in God, but in ourself. if you analize it from a more realistic point of view it makes you think. Plus we have the Camera Shots To show us the same. When Cas gives Sam the Orb the camera show us Sam in a Higher position and Dean and Cas down, even God was under Sam. But When Sam falls and his last spark of Hope is gone they show him in a darker and lower position compare to God. But when we go back to Dean, Dean stands up and the camera shows him as Chuck's same level, but when Dean makes his speech aproaching to Chuck Sam looks high up and Dean is literally seeing Chuck from a higher position. Basically, Sam lost hope, but Dean won it, so its not over yet. Sam was always the representation of Hope. Before, he was taleays the one saying "We find another way" but this time things changed and it was Sam the one asking "What Now?" and Dean saying "We'll Find another Way" And I think its also related with, as much as Chuck is a b*tch, he is still represent Light, and he Still being God. And that Hope was tiding him to Earth, because he still represents all of that...

Castiel didn't die from the vision Sam saw. Dean said he buried Castiel in the Ma'lak box. Which is worse than death. The mark isn't the mark of Cain. It is very similar though. It's essentially a lock and key of trapping Chuck onto a living being. Like when Chuck trapped Amara in a cage like seal onto Lucifer to Cain to Dean. Eventually Chuck was going into trap Amara onto Sam in 11x22 and have him bear the mark. The spell was then given to Castiel and Dean to use the same trap. If that happened according to Chuck, Castiel would be uncontrollable as Dean was with the mark of Cain. Thus Dean put him in the Ma'lak box. The same one Dean wanted to go in with Michael. So no, Castiel wasn't killed, he was just buried alive in the worst way. 💔

The apocalypses happened because Chuck wanted, it’s all part of his stories. The concept of this need of Chuck to keep balance was kind explored in s11 with Amara, there can’t be light without darkness and vice versa, so if Chucks die darkness will prevail. And what he showed Sam is what he has written, remember the Becky ep where she got real mad saying the end wasn’t good and not what the boys deserved... so for Chuck that’s really gonna happen. Sam already changed the future when he dropped the ball therefore Cas don’t have the mark because the spell wasn’t completed

Bill kills god, death foretold it back in season 5 or 6 cass will be taken by the darkness as stated in season 14 jack will come back with Billy and the darkness and once Billy reaps God jack will take him throne in heaven and become the real God and fix the world bringing back Mary cass john and everyone else that was a main character. That's my wanted ending and I'm sure some of what I just said will happen. That or itll end the way it was supposed to in s05 Sam as Lucy Dean as Michael but they'll be actual Arch Angel's created by jack not possessed by Angel's.

Its not that he dies. They are not trying to kill him. They are trying to trap him like Amara once was. Also It's the loss of God that the monsters go crazier. Meaning that God is basically the one controlling the monsters. Chuck holds the monsters with a collar.

I'm pretty sure the plan was to do the same thing to God, that he did to Amara. Use the mark of cain as a lock to lock him away. Because They need the balance of the darkness and light?(chuck and amara) I think so anyway lol

In that future cas didn't die. When dean had the mark he was turning Evil. There planning to lock god up in the same place the darkness was in witch requires the mark. Cas would eventually turn on sam and dean forcing them to lock cas in that Angel Box.
