The way I see it what the books say can change very quickly and at any time. Dean went from having hundreds of ways of dying to only having one where the Malik(however ya say that) box kills him. We obviously know what’s in the books can be altered cause Dean didn’t go in the Malik(however ya say that) box. So maybe specific things need to happen before said death can happen and so Billy is trying to keep everyone on that path cause knowing to much can change the book or stop what’s in it. I mean Sam did kill Rowena like her book said he would so we know the books can work. I think if Sam and Dean know to much they might do something differently and end up accidentally changing what’s in Chuck’s book. I believe Billy has a specific way she needs them to handle everything in order fo what’s in the book to actually happen. So the less they know the better.

@@alleybox Its like what Chuck said in the first episode after Christmas; he asked Sam why he and Dean are always defying him and his "script," because all of the other Sams and Deans in the multiverse have died the way he wanted them to die. So mainstream Sam and Dean are immune to fate and destiny, maybe? Billie, back when she first reappeared after she was "promoted," asked Dean about the Multiverse and how he had been slipping between universes. She said that the multiversal construct was a house of cards and that she doesn't "need some big, dumb winchester to go knocking it down." Perhaps since he crossed over into Apocalypse World and brought people from there back to the mainstream universe, like the Bobby and Charlie of that universe (not to mention Michael), it warped the reality of the mainstream universe and Dean's fate was one of the affected elements.

@@alleybox Also, there is a an episode of Stargate SG-1 about their multiverse. It included 2 of the characters from the alternate universe crossing over into the mainstream universe. One of them was being "phased out of reality," due to this phenomenon that is like a multiversal anomaly or inconsistency. The 2 versions of that same individual existing in the mainstream single universe, caused an anomaly in the fabric of that universe and it tried to correct itself by deleting the foreign version of the person. When AW Michael entered the mainstream universe, he was literally coexisting with the mainstream universe Michael, and 2 multiversal copies of the same celestial entity (the most powerful archangel, not to mention 1 of the top 10 most powerful entities out of both universes), disrupted the cosmic fabric of the mainstream universe. Dean's alternative death stories could have been a result of that disruption. It's just a writer's fart, I'm sure. But it's kind of a cool idea to consider.

I think the kaia thing was very quick but than thinking about it, maybe they needed to talk about the dark Kaia and normal Kaia situation (idk too many ppl) because this would had been a major plot point for the wayward spin off and then they never did it (STILL MAD) so they had to wrap everything before the end. The books in Death's library aren't just ways that Dean could die. Chuck made many different worlds, so there are many different Deans. So the books contain the deaths of all the Deans.. I think that Billie omitted that bit of information though. Chuck has one book because there is only one Chuck. That's how I understand things anyway. :)

One more little note. "Wayward Sisters" storyline came out in S13E10. Back then we, the fandom, didn't fully embrace them or understand their significance other than just a women's empowerment thing. Female Hunter's can kick ass too. NOW, 2 1/2 seasons later, maybe they would probably be MUCH better received as a complete story line. Now that "The Boys" are leaving, maybe it's time for the next-generation. Just my opinion.

I'm still confused on the books as well but so far I'm thinking that the books are POSSIBLE deaths, not set in stone deaths, and people usually have a lot of books because they're easy or easier to kill than GOD (like Dean, and Rowena) but God only has one way he can POSSIBLY die. So maybe God CAN die that way, not WILL die that way? And maybe if Dean, Jack, or Sam die before that or if any of the other factors get messed up, there's no other way that he can be killed so he'll just go on forever. Unless the books rewrite themselves. Which seems like more of a plot device than anything else, idk. Anyways I just binge watched all of your season 15 reactions because I needed to see if I was the only one going insane but I love your channel so much! Well Sam finally acknowledged the issue which I have been questioning for the past couple months: "If Jack kills God, then what about Amara?" The cosmic balance that would be compromised. A theory floating around is that Jack will somehow become the new God, in a sense. He will replace Chuck in holding his half of the cosmic scales, so the multiverse (perhaps it will just be the "universe" with Chuck cleaning house, lately) wont be destroyed. Kelly and Castiel said that fetal Jack showed them a universe without hunger, despair, suffering, etc, so maybe he will deliver this paradise once he kills Chuck and becomes the new God, or whatever. If not, then I trust Billie. I assume that Billie/Death with her cosmic awareness, will have predicted this and has a solution to this eventual issue of cosmic imbalance. If that doesnt involve Jack assuming the role of God after he kills him, then I believe she has something else up her sleeve.

Dean's books changed several times since Advanced Thanatology (13x05). During the Michael thing Dean only had two books, so I guess Chuck's book can change as well? And I guess with the deaths and especially Chuck's death it's like in Avengers Infinity War. There are a lot of possiblities but only one ends with Chuck defeated. Idk I think it makes sense. About the rest of the episode: I disliked the Sergei part too. It's so sad how they had to dumb Cas down so he wouldn't know the solution for everything anymore like in the beginning, so now he relies onto some background characters to tell him things about stuff he should already be aware of. Not so much in this episode like in 15x09 but you know what I mean. Same with the MoL, they were used too much as a plot device for exposition in the show. How do they know so much about angels and heaven when before S4 they only went to earth to kill Lily Sunder's kid? It annoys me sooo much argh 😵 I really missed Claire but I LOVE everything about Kaia. DREAMHUNTER is back baby and they deserve their happy ending ❤️

I read a review on this last episode and it questioned "How soulless Jack really is." After doing everything he did and risking his life, the plan to stop Chuck, and the entire world just to save one person, it makes one question the alleged lack of his soul. I mean does everything he did for Kaia(s) seem like the actions and risks of a soulless individual? Much less the son of the devil, himself? I dont think so. Did Billie somehow restore his soul? If anyone could do it besides Chuck, it would probably be her. She works with souls more than anyone else and the OG Death displayed some level of control and influence over them when he retrieved and modified Sam's soul in Season 6. The only other entity besides those 2 who could maybe do it is Amara. She is equal to God in raw power, which means that maybe she has the ability or skill to generate souls. She has consumed thousands, if not millions of them, so maybe she owns some unique wisdom or perspective about them? Maybe Jack has the power to restore or even create souls so maybe he restored his soul or created a new soul for himself? Who knows. Maybe being in the Empty or a revelation from Billie gave him new perspective on how to cope with no soul or with a very small portion of his soul if it remains. Maybe a shred of his soul did remain after killing Michael and it was enough to give him a newfound conscience?

This comment is going to be very long warning. So what got me thinking at the end of the episode is how Billie doesn’t mention Cas’s role at all. Chuck doesn’t mention Cas in his plans or Cas as his favourite “character”. This makes me think it’s because Cas has always disobeyed rules and what was expected. In his words “we’re making it up as we go” is what he’s been doing since s4. So Billie not mentioning him at all makes me think that he’s going to be the real key to defeating chuck because chuck won’t expect Cas. He’s always been the one to mess up the ‘plan’. That or the spn writers just love leaving Cas out 🤧 but since it was Bobo and Meredith I have high hopes.
