I really really love this episode. Jesse and Cesar are great, I loved them. And the actors live tweeted during the episode were both really good guys. Edit: totally agree, it's baffling and ridiculous to me to care so much that two people of the same sex are in love as if it's a bad thing. Like how? Love is bad? Please.

They've probably always been accepted by other Hunters. Hunters tend to be very practical, and bigotry of any stripe isn't practical. I like Hunters.

​​@@margaretgarside5617 I mean...I would agree that hunters should be pratical, and that bigotry shouldn't even exist in this domain (or overall, but especially there - they see actual monsters everyday) ; unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that a large portion of them is very "old school" and not accepting. We've had the example of John Winchester, who was extremely old school and "masculine" (in a super toxic and abusive way, trying to mold his children to be soldiers and nothing else) ; it wouldn't surprise me if this guy was homophobic (and we kinda see it within Dean, who is not homophobic per say, but who seemed much more surprised/shocked than Sam everytime something even remotely gay happened, especially in the earlier seasons, and was much more inclined to call Sam gay everytime he fitted into a stupid stereotype, like knowing Disney stories for example). But yeah, overall I don't think the hunter's world is all that accepting (even though it should be). There are terrible people everywhere.

I’m seeing mixed opinions on this episode, the biggest reason in my opinion being that it was placed in the middle of the climax of the season. Honestly, this was probably one of my favorite monster of the week type episode, if not one of my favorite episodes of the entiere show of the entire show (probably biased because I’m a sucker for any kind of LGBTQ+ representation at this point- and I loved these specific characters). Even though the Winchesters are and should be the main focus’ I really like it when we get to see that other hunters actually exist and do their job once in a while, and Jesse and César are very cool one time characters. I was kinda hoping that we would get to see more of them in the show while I was watching it, but reflecting on that, I’m just glad that Jesse got closure and that they could live off happily ever after (in my mind at least) ; staying around in this show, they would’ve had a bad ending (probably death). And I do always love your little discussions during and after the reactions. You’ve quickly became one of my favorite reaction channels along with Blind Wave. Thank you for your work.
