@tara6692 No, She has too many fear issues to be trusted in public. She is also our family member. However, she helps me learn how to train specific tasks as a demo dog so I can help others train their own service dogs.

Jessie didnt seem to be fearful of the clerk in public or of the store. Also my last service dog was my service dog but also a member of my family and when she was of duty she was allowed to play with my young adult daughter too which helped when i slipped into a comma while sleeping. My dog got my daughters attention to show her im not just sleeping and obviously my dog cant help me when im unconcious so she let my daughter care for her while i was in the hospital. My dog for some reason also had to go potty at 1 am and thats not visiting hrs and i was too weak to take my dog so i thought it would be best to leave her with my daughter. At the time i didnt know my service dogs care taker was also allowed to spent the night. After the hospital i was still too weak but once i gained a little strenght i went on potty walks with my daughter and my dog and occassionally to the grocery store with them til i was strong enough to take care of my dog myself. I use a transport rolator and my dog knew how to walk gentle with them but i didnt feel confident til a while after getting out. When my daughter went to stores without me bella stayed with me but we still also considered her part of our family. I think even service dogs are part of the family. I almost died in that coma. What if i had died. Bella needs to feel comfortable letting someone else take care of her when that happens. I mean if that had happened while she was alive and even while she was still a service dog b4 she retired

Jessie can be very cat-like at times! This is one reason we think she might be min pin or at least a small breed mix (my daxie was very cat-like too). When we first got her she ran all around the room on the top of the couch and didn't touch the floor!

Really. She looked like a normal size Rottie to me, Arent minpins way too small to pull wheel chairs ?

Would love to see more. I suffer from MS and have a 5 month old pit mix I'd love to train like Jessie. Wish me luck

My last service dog was a pit husky mix and amazing at her job as a diabetic alert dog. My mobility just recently got so bad that im in need of a mobility dog. I think if she wasnt on the small side she would be amazing at this job too

interesting video but can i ask what is that noise that happens whenever she does something?
@supernaturalbc20087 жыл бұрын
The sound is from a clicker. The clicker tells her that what she is doing is correct, exactly at the instant she is doing it. It is followed by a bit of food to reward her.

I like the way you train and show it, but I'm not able to read the texts as fast as they are presented.

Thanks Karen. Pushing the pause button helps to give you more time to read them.
