SUPERNOVAE FC Comparison (CarnyJared + Frif)

Now that Supernovae has been FC'd twice, here's a comparison of both runs.
For whatever reason, Jared's FC was slightly slower than Frif's FC. So for your viewing convenience, I sped up Jared's FC slightly so that the notes would be in sync, so that explains any weird audio desyncing.

for anyone wondering about jared's fc being slightly slower, it seems that is a render issue since you can do a side by with 2 chrome tabs and a bit of timing, that way they actually match.

only have played guitar hero on consoles and such, but how are they hitting the notes when it isint fully reaching the bottom of the hit area yet? (more noticeable on Frif's side) is Clone Hero's hitwindow that big?

yes clone heros hit window is extremly forgiving

Clone Hero has a 70 ms front end. They're both running a super high note speed, so it can give the illusion they're hitting notes way earlier than they're supposed to. CH also allows you to set a negative latency, which physically moves the hit window further up the screen. Can't say for certain if either player is doing this, though.

kinda makes my brain alarm go off whenever i see desync on 2 normal speed fcs needing to be manually changed when aligning them, though i am assuming there's a logical explanation to this such as rendering errors or something similar, as neither of these fcs give off a single suspicion to me on their own.

jared’s yt upload has some edits in it, zooming in and stuff, so that may have caused it when the video was rendered/exported

I mean they were both done on stream. I don't see why anyone would even try to attempt to fake anything after the whole schmooey thing for one, or even put THIS amount of effort into faking FC attempts in general. I mean you gotta remember, Jared has gone for these things for months at a time, same goes for Frif. The thing that always raised suspicion for me with schmooey was that there were many inconsistencies such as grinds taking no time, no stream, and all of the methods seeming to just all be sliding. (Edit: his reactions were all pretty dumb too.) I hope we never have to go through another schmooey level controversy.

Tbh if the situation happens where someone finds evidence that Jared faked fc's, the entertainment value and effort put into the accomplishment wouldn't personally lessen the viewing experience for me. I don't watch Jared to see the best clone hero game play, I watch to see when/if he gets the accomplishment he's been working on for the last impressive length of time. If he's been cheating, I actually couldn't care less. Also side rant, can someone else fc livewire, I hate living in a world in which the hardest song in that setlist was slide spammed ._.

@@flyingpiggie979He does that to maintain his “warm-up”. Slower sections can cause cool-down and less speed later. Also, it’s not spamming. It’s called sliding and only works on a few patterns. You can’t slide through everything and it takes a ton of skill to pull off. Go give it a try :)
