Izzie Rodgers is an acne-embracing skincare content creator who has worked with the likes of Superdrug, ASOS and Harrods to teach self-love and combat body shaming. After a life of having clear skin, Izzie first got cystic acne months before her 21st birthday. The sudden outburst of spots drained all of Izzie’s confidence and negatively affected her mental health, causing her to stay in bed all day and never leave the house. After much time trying to hide her appearance, Izzie decided to embrace it, posting unedited photos online of her acne journey which led her to where she is today. Izzie now uses her channels to share content centred around body positivity, acne, beauty, and self care - all of which is always delivered with a sense of unfiltered authenticity. In this episode, we talk about navigating acne, skincare tips and steps you can take for finding self love.
