If there is ANY DOUBT that Mr. Mike Trout will define a generation if there's any doubt He is one of if not the best players in the MLB if there's any doubt that THE KID is one of a kind . This years all star game has answered all those questions. When he hot a homer in the first inning with Grenkie was pitching it was then I KNEW he is one of the best baseball players we have seen in many a year. I am 65 when Aaron Bench Mays and Kofax walked out to the diamond my mind was flooded with memories I grew up a dodgers fan but now The Halos are my one and only!!! We have some INCREDIBLE young talent this season Joc Pederson is another phenom!!!!!!

My son and I were there last season when they clinched. We had left our seats and were heading to the parking lot when we heard everyone going crazy half Of the people had left we ran back to the gate they let us in and wouldn't you know they passed right by were we had been sitting with their Champagne bottles I was sooooo pissed. But it was a thrill to see this young play.

My dad and i went to the game where he hit for his first cycle. We left right before the 8th inning because it was such a blowout and my dad was tired. Sure enough listening to the radio on the way home we hear "mike trout with the big fly for his first major league cycle." Such a bummer to miss! Lol

Watched an interview on MLB.com a couple of weeks ago with Mickey Mantles son. He said Trout reminded him of his dad. My grand daughter got a text message last year from her friend who me Trouty at restaurant in Anaheim said he is the nicest guy. A man my son works with has a son playing little league one of the coaches said one of the guys from the Angels told him that trout is the best player he's ever seen. I couldn't agree more.

I spent some time going over Mays and Aaron vs Trout. I looked at essentially the first 6 years of their career. Thus far Trout should be mentioned in the same breath as Mays and Aaron regarding the first 6 years. Of course Trout has to keep it up for 15 to 20 years like Aaron and Mays did. The first 6 years are very close between the three of them. Aaron and Mays were probably slightly better based on the numbers, but it's very close. Be interesting to see if Trout can keep up the "Mays & Aaron" numbers for another 15 years like they did.
