I remember coming across this as a 6 year old in 2014 and watching this.. man the 2000s/2010s were the best era of the internet before the words "Tik Tok" and "Family KZbinrs" existed in our lives and kids weren't vaping 24/7

I first saw this on newgrounds, I couldn’t have been more than 8 or 9 (I definitely shouldn’t have been on ng at that age in retrospect lol) but it made me want to be an animator, something I’m still pursuing to this day now that I’m in my twenties :)

Someone on reddit wrote this.. I was looking again for any clues but I can only tell you this: I remembered this animation something like 3 years ago and he still had his Newgrounds account, although most of his animations were gone. He only had an animation reel in his page. I think I remember reading that he was no longer proud of his old work, which is a shame, really. But then some weird s*** happened. He started writing about some personal issues and what seemed to me like depression or a mental illness he was dealing with, but it didn't look like he was aware of this at all. He later was posting about his mindset at that moment and it was very obscure, and it only got worse. The last post I read was totally insane, like he was completely brainwashed by a cult, talking about really pessimistic and unhealthy dogmas. But it was dark, man, like really dark. It almost looked like a goodbye, like he was gonna kill himself after that. As someone who was curious about him from childhood nostalgia, reading all of that left me very concerned. Later he deleted his account, or he changed his name, IDK. I never saw anything from him again, but I really hope he got help and is well now.
