Thanks for the instructions! Interesting to see 6 suspension units + 2x buggy motors on this; I guess it's going to be a few weeks before I get more if them got this build, haha. :3 till then, I guess I'll start tearing down that offroader that I built from your previous video (the orange one)
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign34 жыл бұрын
Honored to hear you built that 😁The front uses 4 weak springs now. I suppose 2 hard ones can easily work just as well, with minimal change in the design. The rear red springs are rated as hard. But the yellow ones feel harder to me, i guess soft might work as well (the flex axles in the rear also help the spring here) let me know what you think of it when you finish it!

@@flocoollego yes it has full independent suspension. The buggy motors funtion as swingarms as well here.

I copied the build using a power functions rechargable battery block and an Sbrick but it couldn't achieve anywere near the speeds in the video. I actually had to gear it down using the small and medium rounded cogs so it could run well since otherwise it could only move it's self on a perfectly flat surface and even then a slightly raised or uneven surface would cause it to get stuck.
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign33 жыл бұрын
The lego battery box only delivers 7.4v, while the buwizz can deliver up to 11.1v. That is a big difference in speed, but i am somewhat surprised to hear the torque also drops, the lego lipo should be able to power 2 rc motors albeit at a lower rpm..

Hi, awesome looking thing. Does it shred gears? Is it on rebrickable please? Thanks!
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign34 жыл бұрын
There are no gears in the driveline, so no, it doesn't shred gears, but it does shred tires.. And no its not on Rebrickable, sorry.

is it possible to just use one buggy motor? I don't have two and they're really expensive. I am aware that it'll go muuch slower but I really like this build here :)
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign34 жыл бұрын
Hmm that could work but would need a completely different rear ofc. The rear would be a single axle which will give it completely different handling, I dont think it will be alot slower, but acceleration will suffer and the motor could trip its protection maybe making you wait for it to cool down. I recently built it with 2 of the chinese replica motors, they work well for this model (although you are better off sending the money for a single real one). I am glad you like it!
@ELValenin4 жыл бұрын
@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 Thanks for the help :) my issue is also that I don't think my SBrick will handle two buggy and one servo motor at 11-12V with a 3s lipo (It's made for 9V). Did you use the 2.0 with ludricrous mode or just fast mode with 9V?
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign34 жыл бұрын
@@ELValenin this video was shot on fast mode. Ludacrous sometimes gives issues with the tripping the buwizz protection when accelerating from a standstill so i didnt use it.
@ELValenin4 жыл бұрын
Oh OK so 9v should be just fine. Thx a lot, it was really helpful! I'll consider buying another buggy motor :)
@marxpeklegotechnicdesign34 жыл бұрын
@@ELValenin is your LiPo voltage regulated? From what i know: a fully charged 3s will burn out a s-brick (anything over 11.8v would fry it, and a fully charged 3s LiPo is 12.6v unless its regulated) besides that: i think the sbrick is using the same or similar protection compared to buwizz.
