1:57 I think Stevens floating was slightly foreshadowed in "roses scabbard", Steven tries to leap to pearl on the floating island, making it way farther than anticipated, however when pearl gives him the stare, Steven starts to feel like shit and starts falling like a rock. I don't know if this is a stretch or not

1:25 I think that steven unlocks the powers because of the things that happened in the major plot points. In Jail Break, he sees that he can't protect anyone (or himself) against a strong enemy like jasper and thus, his gem unlocks the power to defend (with his shield and bubble). In the drill section, he is so far undergroundy which gives him some kinda trauma or sumn, which makes his gem unlock the ability to jump high to the sky. His healing powers unlocked after feeling powerless to save Amethyst. If thats the system the crewniverse used to slowly unlock stevens powers, that might explain it. Although its heavily dumb that he loses his healing powers temporarily since he never really seems to temporarily lose any powers after that.

I think this all works except for his floating powers They're not even that useful anyway, and he forgets he can do it half the time (like, they make him REALLY vulnerable to projectiles)

Okay, I can't be the only one thinking this, but how come Amethyst didn't use her whip to pull Steven out of the sky or Garnet, using her stretching powers, could have literally just reached out and pulled Steven out of the sky? The episode would have ended in a pinch. I know I'm not the only one thinking that. And I also know I'm not the only one who's surprised that Supersonic 1014 didn't point that out and sin it.

Unpopular opinion, but I really don't like Steven's voice from here until season 4. It sounds too squeaky. He sounds a lot better in Season 5.

I think it kinda ranges, like I’ve never had any issues with Stevens voices, in fact I love it And belive it fits him perfectly. But there have been some noticeable changes to it, like how it started out way more high pitch in season one. I notice that it gets deeper and more natural as time goes on but that most likely has to do with both Zack getting older snd getting far more used to the voice.
