I had assumed, but it's good to know that Way of King's probably will have a slower start for me. The Final Empire gripped me from the very first page, so I won't expect that same experience necessarily. I know W of K has to do a lot more building.

I highly recommend reading Monstress!!!!! It’s an epic high fantasy/horror/steampunk graphic novel series with amazing and detailed illustrations. The story is so intricate and amazing!!!!!!!!

I'm excited to read more of it! I really thought Shellan would be my favorite but so far, Kaladin is the character I'm most invested in!

I'm new to your channel but I already love you and your taste of book you have given me so many to add to my reading list! I just finished Serpent and Dove and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it can't wait for the sequel! I just watched your bookshelf tour and don't think I spotted on of my favorite series though you may have read it since but I HIGHLY recommend The King Maker Chronicles by Amanda Bouchet!

I read some of The Way of Kings as well in October though didn't finish and hope to continue on soon. I've been meaning to read Homeland by R.A. Salvatore and the rest of the books in the first bind up but haven't gotten around to it yet. I am looking forward to continuing on with the Keeper of the Lost Cities series though I've only read the first book so far.

I thought Dead Voices was better and creepier than Small Spaces as well. I haven't heard of the book with elves in it so I'm going to have to check that out!

Drizzt is fun to play as in Balders gate. You get him after completing the game on hard or extreme. Fun days. Loved the games.

I’m super excited to binge read the remainder of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series this month! It’s all a part of my grand master reading plan 😉😂 Wish me luck though because it’s definitely an investment of my time! Snow, Glass & Apples looks incredibly intriguing. I might actually have to borrow that one to read because it sounds really interesting (though who knows how I’ll react to all the horrifying things in it), lol. I’m also interested in reading Dead Voices (and Small Spaces), as both sound super intriguing to me and I love that they’re set in different seasons. You’ve also got me intrigued enough to want to check out Again, but Better! I ended up enjoying Serpent & Dove! We had very similar feelings about it, with the slow start and the fact that there were aspects of the world and the characters that ended up reeling us into the book in the end. And I also had a really fun time reading The Bone Houses, which was such a very neatly written story.

I've listened to Keeper of Lost Cities in audiobook, good. With exile I'm having trouble grabbing interest but it could be because of the bridge between books 1&2

if you like creepy forests, maybe you should try Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong. It's a YA fantasy and it has a spooky fantastical forest.

It's so nice to hear that you liked Again, But Better. I think that it is the first positive review I've seen. And I'm happy to hear that some people do actually like it. And I trust your judgement, so I will give it a try.

ooh you have me intrigued about The Bone Houses! I haven't read The Lost Sister yet (not sure if I will) but I can't imagine it'd make me like Taryn better either LOL also that high ponytail looks so amazing on you!

As always, great wrap up! This video motivates me to read some of the books mentioned. I just finished Serpent and Dove and I concurred, it was ok. There are some cute and funny parts but too long for the type of story.

Oh man, I wish I could read 13 books in a month! But I only finished two books and two manga volumes in October. I finished up Wicked Fox, which I ended up loving, and The Near Witch and really enjoyed that one too! I also continued on with reading Shadow & Flame, which I'm hoping to finish up within the next week.

Ooh, I need to pick up the Neil Gaiman graphic novel. I read the gn version of The Sleeper and the Spindle a couple of months ago and really enjoyed that one! If you haven't read that one yet, I definitely recommend it since you enjoyed the Snow White one so much. Sleeper and the Spindle is (to no surprise) a twisted retelling of Sleeping Beauty!

I read 22 books in October. My 1.5 star book was Circe by Madeline Miller. It was not my kind of book. My six five star books were Stolen by Lucy Christopher, City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab, Say her Name by James Dawson and Hush,Hush, Crescendo and Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick (the first three books in the Hush, Hush series) ❤❤

Can you read the Keeper of the lost cities a little bit slowly, please? I read the 20% of the 4th book because of you. I love that series but I don’t like the translations of the story in my language. It suck sometimes. I wish to read these books in English in the future.

Oh my goodness, I have no idea! I bought my bookshelves six or seven years ago now. I don't know exact dimensions but I have four of the wide Billy bookshelves and not in frame, I have 5 of the skinny ones.
