Having said that, I actually like your “normal” content better and you really deserve more viewers. KZbin is full of people driving sport cars but there are few people with successful rental companies, who talks honestly about the trials and tribulations of it. Maybe a re-branding of your channel to Gotham Dream Cars would attract people who are missing it now. What do I know but... :)

The race version of a car normally just means more down force and lighter to go around a track faster. More down force means better in turns, slower in a straight line. That is why they take off the wings and stuff when doing top speed runs. You shouldn't compare street drag race results with a more track focused car to one that isn't. You can just look at the wing difference of those two cars and know that one has a big disadvantage in a drag race, but it will be better in turns and less likely to go flying in the air. Wasn't it a Hennessey car that was doing a top speed run and it went flying in the air because it had very little down force for the top speed run?

I was thinking of the same thing as u. Normally race cars for track such having more downforce big wing making them slower but good at turning the car but a street car most have less bigger wings and other stuff thar doesn't slow it down like a track car

@@AosmoYT yup. Rob even did a video on the Hennessy Venom F5 crash a little over a month ago, and gave his opinion on what he thought happened. I'm sure he mentioned the lack of downforce because it had no wing and no conards on the front to keep it planted on the ground during their 250+ mph top speed run and the car was picked up and crashed to the ground. I think it was Porsche that was testing one of their cars and the chassis mounted wing created so much downforce that it bent the frame of the car and they had to adjust the angle of the wing to create less downforce so it wouldn't bend the frame.

The 458 was a perfect car. I hope they can simplify the next mid-engine V8 design. They kept the beautiful 458 silhouette, but ruined it by changing the design language on the F8. Oddly enough the 296 GTB is by far the prettiest car in their current lineup

Rob, for cars without Bluetooth, get a Bluetooth enabled FM transmitter. It plugs into your 12V (cigarette lighter) plug and connects to your audio system via FM.

@@loickl It's the fastest, least invasive and most portable way to get Bluetooth into a vehicle without it. Rob's not looking to change systems on a vehicle that he prefers to keep stock for when he sells it. Also, it works fine if you have a good one.

They are all very similar through the turns. That comes down to tires and driver more so that aero. Most drivers can't drive fast enough to get the benefit of aero on the street.

Regarding the music that's a solved problem. There's a company that sells a Carplay module for it that integrates into the factored system, you just have to hold a button to switch to it. Or they also offer an adapter harness so you can upgrade to a head unit from a 488, which can also give you factory Carplay plus the other improvements it offers. Finally if you have the iPod plud you can buy a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into it and let's you stream that way. Reply to this comment if you want the details.

The STO is a track machine with tons of downforce. Dont expect that to be a straight-line monstrosity. And also... This means nothing to people that buy them. Nothing beats an SF90, and the new Lambos are both slower than their previous models. Its just... Not a priority.
