The WWE Hall of Fame has some legendary and unforgettable superstars as inductees; Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, D-Generation X, the nWo, The Undertaker, Edge, The Four Horsemen, Dusty Rhodes... the list goes on. Superstars of the past get to go on stage and talk about their accomplishments in the ring and although some fans don't see the value in a Hall of Fame induction, others enjoy hearing from their childhood heroes.
A lot of superstars of the past have not been given Hall of Fame inductions for various reasons. This video looks at superstars who really should be given an induction (even though many superstars in this video are guarenteed never to get the honor).

Another honorable mention for the HOF is Dean Malenko. He was an 11-time champion during his runs in ECW, WWE, and WCW. His father, Boris, was a legendary trainer who trained WWE HOF members like Kane and X-pac. It would be nice to see Dean and his dad get some recognition for their contributions to the industry.

Article - Due to his long tenure with company many have expected Johnston to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, once again things aren’t quite that simple. I’m 18 minutes in, and while I agree with the majority of the list so far, Jim Johnston 100% deserves to go into the Hall. There would be no “WWF/E The Music” CDs back in the day if it wasn’t for him. He legit added an element that NO ONE had before him, or since can touch. If The Bellas can get in bc of their reality shows added to the product outside of what goes on in the ring, then Jim definitely deserves it as well.

Everyone on this list definitely needs to be inducted into the hall of fame especially Jim Johnston, if it wasn't for him, wrestlers wouldn't be the larger than life characters that we know them for without his contributions, his musical compositions helped bring them to life and forged identities. I'd love to see Victoria be inducted as she was a big part of the ruthless aggression era and helped get the women's division over with her hardcore match against Trish Stratus, while I'm talking about women's division, Chyna needs to go in as a solo act as she changed the game for women's wrestling.

Jim Johnston should've already been in the HOF. That guy's contribution to wrestling music is like that of Nobuo Uematsu to Video Game scores and Hans Zimmer & Danny Elfman to Theatrical scores on the big screen. This is why most wrestling fans don't take the WWE HOF seriously anymore because there are people that aren't there who are long overdue to be inducted and people in the Hall that have us asking "Why do they belong there?"

Martel's best work definitely imo came as AWA World Champion when that belt was easily the 2nd biggest title in Wrestling! The WWF/E back then was basically a joke that had some of the most unwatchable stuff ever. Most big shows ended in a curfew draw because of I guess the large cities??? If Hogan hadn't been a POS he's proven to be over and over we may be living in a totally different wrestling world were you could still go see live big name wrestling locally every week! I've always said if today's world and the world of 1980 could have a baby it would be so great! All the territories still in tact as a feeding system to a major promotion having huge shows just like today but Quarterly like with the big 4. One World Champion making the rounds bringing each area's top stars to almost his level or sometimes even higher to get the shot for all to see. We could watch ever territories show on the internet with the best stars rotating on the national show. Imagine if back in 1985 we got The Freebirds against The British Bulldogs as the opening bout to Kerry Von Erich vs Dusty Rhodes in a #1 contender match then Randy Savage vs Magnum TA followed by Ric Flair and Paul Orndorff vs Hulk Hogan and Rick Martel? Then the next week they all go back to they local territory and we get a all new group of stars to go at it. Sounds like a good world to me

Personally, I'd love to see William Regal, Victoria and Big Show get the Hall of Fame nod. I know that both Regal and Show are working in AEW now but still, I think they're both long overdue for an induction. As for Victoria, I consider her one of my favorite woman's wrestlers during the Ruthless Aggression Era. Sid, Rick Martel, Micke James, Demolition and Paul Hayman all deserve to go into the Hall. This is kind of an idea out of left field, but I'd like to see Steve Blackman get inducted due to his contributions to the then-WWF's Hardcore Division. Ken Shamrock certainly deserves the nod as well. As far a celebrity inductees, I want Chuck Norris to get inducted. Finally in an alternate world, Chris Benoit would definitely be in the Hall of Fame but in the real world, but I know that'll never happen nor should it ever happen.
@quentinkaasa47
@quentinkaasa47 2 жыл бұрын
There is a tiny possibility Benoit could get inducted with the Radicalz as a group. It likely won't ever happen, but that's the only way I see Malenko, Saturn or Benoit ever being inducted. Chris of course wouldn't be spotlighted or have to be acknowledged during the ceremony. If they did that then they would also have to induct Nancy (and probably Daniel) the same night, and make it about them, not Chris.

Sid has the distinction of being the first wrestler to ever win the WWF championship on a Raw episode. There had been dozens of championship matches on Raw prior to this (my favorite being Bret Hart vs the 1-2-3 Kid) but the champion would always win, so Sid beating Bret Hart and winning the championship really shook things up and showed that champions are no longer invincible in TV title matches.

My personal choice on who should be inducted (basing on some of the inductees) is Giant Baba. One of the best wrestling promoters ever and the founder of AJPW, considered as one of the nicest wrestler to work with, an excellent boss (helped the gaijin movement in puroresu) and had the same level of popularity as Hogan in Japan. Talking about him as a wrestler, he was a 7-time world champion and a multiple time tournament winner.

Del Wilkes, should be inducted. He was "The Trooper" in the AWA, but hit his stride as "The Patriot" in the GWF, the WWF/E, WCW, and all across Japan. His theme music was reused and turned into "Medal" for Kurt Angle. I also think that "Gentleman" Chris Adams should be inducted, a legendary Olympic Judoka from England and legendary wrestler in Texas promotions and eventually the final years of WCW, Chris Adams trained Steve Austin, Scott Hall, and gave Shawn Micheals' his signature move "Sweet Chin Music" and for every other wrestler a devastating move in their arsenal when Chris used one of his judo moves and invented the side-kick.

I know with Pillman, Owen and Benoit more than deserve to be in the Hall of Fame but circumstances will keep them out. Martel was one of my absolute favorite characters and workers, for sure deserves his spot. Cyndi was instrumental for the future of Wrestlemania and Sid I would love see in. One name that I feel should get in is Davey’s tag team partner The Dynamite Kid if he is not in. I would also like for Chyna to have her own solo hall of fame spot. William Regal is another name that deserves his spot in the Hall. With the Bellas getting in I feel then Sable should get in then with her impact for the WWE in her short time. There is a certain bias and politics when it comes to the Hall of Fame. Everyone on that list in the video are worthy.

You're 100% correct on Martel, both with his quality of work, and his unfortunate parting from the business. Another awesome upload from the greatest wrestling channel on the planet. There are many wrestlers who still deserve to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame.
