Great reaction, I love this song!! It's one of my favourites from their underrated "Crisis what Crisis' album

So many folks miss this album, which I think is right up there with Crime. This is one of the first groups I latched onto as a kid spending my paper boy money on their albums; at least up until Breakfast. Nice selection and upload.

I remember 1975 , hearing Dreamer and thinking wtf is that, and I've been a fan from that day to this, for someone who isn't a big fan of prog, but i love supertramp 🏴 happy healthy peace ✌️

Supertramp, a great British band that broke the mould of 1970's rock music. Another great British band of the 1970's were The Babys, I don't know if you've played them before Chis and Cynthia. The Babys had a string of hits including, Isn't it Time, Every Time I Think of You, Midnight Rendezvous, Head First, Back on My Feet Again, A Piece of the Action and If you've Got the Time. I hope you can review something by The Babys, Isn't it Time and Every Time I Think of You are classics.

SOOOOOO Happy you got to this one!! THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad you liked it! Roger Hodgson has a way of writing songs that just hit me in the soul. This is one of those songs (along with "THE MEANING" and "EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS"... If you want to hear a REMARKABLE solo song from Roger that sounds like his SUPERTRAMP work, you should definitely check out "HAD A DREAM (Sleeping With The Enemy)".. It's a FANTASTIC song that you'll love and would make for a great reaction! All the best!!

It would be nice to see. I deleted my post from yesterday because I was thought of giving up asking for another review of Models. Models - Two People Per Sq. km stereomusicvideo Models - Uncontrollable Boy (Audio + Video merge 2024) *Just take note:* - Inner City Sound : Aussie post-punk and experimental scene of late 70's, early 80's... - Melbourne inner city sound: Models, Birthday Party, Hunters And Collectors, The Ears, Ollie Olsen... - All these bands played same scene, same venues, same style, same atttitude... - The Melbourne Inner City Sound also had the unique ''Little Band'' scene which included Thrush & The C*nts, People With Chairs Up Their Noses, Too Fat To Fit Through The Door, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies, Jimmy Haemorrhoid and the Piles... - INXS frontman Michael Hutchence starred in Dogs in Space (1986), a film based on the Little Band scene. Michael played Sam of The Ears (in movie as Dogs In Space). - Sydney Inner City Sound was made up of Pel Mel (originally from Newcastle), Laughing Clowns, Slugf*ckers, XL Capris (who ended up in John Peels oh-so-important favourite box), Do Re Mi (I think half are Melburnians)... *Notes on Two People Per Sq Km* - The population density of Australia in 1980 - most of the population live near the coast... - People part of ''inner city sound'' scene starved during the week (diet tomorrow), took drugs on weekends (speculation, gentle persuasion), danced at places near the docks and wharves of Port Melbourne (the chorus)... - Both songs are from the band's debut 1980 album ''Alphabravocharliedeltaechofoxtrotgolf''. All notes been taken from posts made by DogInSpace and Candice Sassy. These things are worth mentioning in your intro just so we can be clear as to where Models came from and what they were about. They tried their hand at punk, they weren't good at it, so they made their own style of music instead. It's like our accent. We couldn't pull off an English accent, so we just created our own.

You should have the lyrics on your screen as you listen :) With this song, it's basically someone who's down on his luck who has become disillusioned with his religious faith, and doesn't see it as helping him in any way. "Breakfast In America" and "Crime of the Century" are widely regarded as Supertramp's best albums, but this album - "Crisis What Crisis?" - is an often overlooked masterpiece. There isn't a bad track on it, and many of the tracks ("Lady" in particular) are excellent.

Nice reaction! Please react to Darkwater - Tallest Tree. It's from one of my favorite debut albums (Calling the Earth to Witness). Darkwater is a progressive metal band from Sweden.

For me this song was a way too short, but i liked it. I am actually collecting all their albums. So i can suggest some deeper cuts like "Don't Leave Me Now" and "Lord Is It Mine ".

How are these not getting a copyright strike?
@johnmavroudis2054Ай бұрын
Some bands are more notorious than other bands. A lot of bands don't mind reactors at all. Supertramp seems to be cool with reactors. (which is the smart play to find new audiences)

@@butterbagboy They take direction from the artist… people like Fripp (Crimson) and Henley (Eagles) are notorious blockers. Most labels know reactors help open sales to new generations of listeners.
