This song has always been my Supertramp favorite, especially because of Rick Davies' piano solos! The live solo here is incredible!

Check out the Rodger Hodgson version of this song with his live band. It’s definitely superior

@@davidcarney1827seriously… what a year for music. Breakfast in America and the wall being released in the same year is insane. but to think there are countless other classics from that year… special

Child Of Vision...the last song on Breakfast In America...and Supertramp crushed it. WKVE a little radio station out of Mt. Pleasant, PA played it during a little road trip to Ohiopyle way back in 2013 with my g/f and my son. He was 12 at the time. Now he's going to be 23 next week.

The musically magnificent Child of Vision, my absolute favorite song on BIA, and a tribute to just how great Supertramp was. I would give anything to see them just one more time :)

I get the chilles everytime I listen to this song. I still remember when I heard the album version for the first time. The end featuring John Helliwell 's sax feels like a sting of sweet melancholy.

Rick Davies is the stud of this band. Although his talent is manifest in numerous Supertramp pieces this song is the paragon; the album version even more so. My opinion anyway

This is live exactly the way I want to listen and watch a live performance. When it sounds almost as perfect as the studio rendition. Just off enough to know for certain that they are singing and playing live. I don't normally comment or reply EVER But After watching and appreciating this video for being what I described above; I want this to be known. My most favorite band since I was a little kid and still is Led Zeppelin. But every single time I put on a live recording and/or video live in concert. They play and sing a song that I love so far from the studio version, like I can't even sing along. Maybe I would feel differently if I had actually seen them in person.
