Too many to choose just one. Their albums Breakfast In America and Crime Of The Century are masterpieces. Thanks for sharing

This is a very talented & intelligent band. They certainly have a rabbit hole to visit. Incredible piece right there. Thank you!

They have 3 keyboards and a grand piano on the stage. The guy behind the 3rd keyboard is John whos' the sax player. The guitar is a bass in this song. Roger (The lead singer here) also plays guitar really well. Check out "Goodbye Stranger" (live in Paris 1979).

Wow 3 keyboards and a piano. That's wild. I guess the keyboards filled in for the guitar for this song basically. It's cool that it is a bass driven song. I'll add that one to the list as well

@@AceofBadeReacts Cool. Yeah that bass line was being played by Roger Hodgson on that little keyboard along with the bass player. It made it a stronger sound and very unique to Supertramp's sound. 🙂

" Crime of the century" is their best album, in my opinion

Awww this is my childhood here and definitely Logical Song is my favorite Supertramp but then I hear another like The Long Way Home and Goodbye Stranger and its changes. This one has a huge array of instruments used by the band which was interesting back then.

I played in a band in the 70's and the bassist and drummer were at school with Roger Hodgson and played in a band with him. According to them Roger had written most of the songs that were on Supertramp's first album while at school.

I think all the lyrics for the first album were written by Richard Palmer James. Hodgson and Davies wrote the music to go with those lyrics.

Rodger Hodgson wrote this song of his experience of being sent away to boarding school for 10 long years.
