Ordered one for my 99' FXSTC this week because of the suggestion of a performance V-Twin engine builder, my first choice was an RB Racing two into one but that pipe doesn't provide much in the low-end torque range of street riding conditions, Supertrapp has been around for many many years and you don't survive that long if your product isn't good.

@@KnobleMoto how’s the pipe made your riding experience change? Have you noticed any difference between stock and the Supertrapp?

@@keithashline505 It is night and day performance wise compared to stock. Much more low end, and more torque across the entire power band.

Does the front pipe stick out very far ?? all of the vids & photos I've seen make it look like it sticks out along way to the right . does it look weird from the front or back ? im about to order one but am a bit concerned it hangs out to far .

it fits in pretty tight on that pipe and it looks correct. Some manufacturers didn’t do a good job with 02 senor placement and the pipes did stick out on early FI stuff.

Are you running an fp3 at all ? I have an fxdls and the fp3 doesn't show a map for the supertrapp .

I did install an FP3 on this bike. It didn’t have the exact pipe, so I went through the menu until I found something close. Even then it wasn’t a great tune, it was way to rich. I ended up having to rewrite the map based on my dyno tuning experience. I was not thrilled about it.

Hi, what torque setting did you use for the muffler clamp?

I am not sure now. It was a 12-24 screw, if that helps at all. But I got it as tight as I felt I could push the fastener.

Finally got through to Supertrapp. 70 inch lbs for the big muffler clamp. The bracket to frame is stock per the manual 95-115? In lbs. I suggested they list the torque values in the install guide!

Yes the SuperMeg has full heat shields on the dyna too. They work well also.
