Coming from someone that has played a fair amount of snake, this feels a lot easier than normal snake just because there’re fewer precise inputs. It looks a lot less hectic and stress inducing than maintaining a Hamiltonian cycle/ space-filling curve later in a normal game.

@@tobin2.0 Yeah, in basic terms, you’re essentially trying to maintain a 100% efficient space-filling curve. Essentially you’re trying to take the longest path to each Apple in a given cycle. The longer your snake, the shorter the cycles until eventually it’s nearly instant.

This reminded me of the days that i used to play a pokemon mmorpg that had a snake mini game (zombie snake) where the game screen would only take 1/3 of the whole board and each time you got a point the snake would become faster and faster. I think to unlock the cyber world quest you needed to score 38 points, but man, once you get to 27 the snake starts zipping across the board like a madman, you have to stay 2 sqm away from the walls and try to catch a point in the middle while trying not to crash in the walls after getting it, if a point appeared next to the wall, it would br next to impossible getting it. Also, after getting 35, if your internet wasnt really good, like mine, some times the snake would just teleport from one side of the board to the other and crash. Lol I just barelly managed to get the 38 points, it took me months.
