Bathurst is such an icon iconic track but footage could be from any genric circuit. Where are the iconic corners or sections that make Bathurst special? The Cutting, The Dipper, across the top. Going into The Chase at full song.

Super record congratulations crazy question would you maybe allow the Iron Dames to drive the Nürburgring in honour of Sabine Schmitz, I have been a fan of the Iron Dames since Le Mans and the Ford Supervan fits in with the crazy story of driving the Nürburgring in under 10 minutes on Top Gear with the Ford Transit. Take the restrictions off the V8 and see how they go. Remember a V8 is restricted to min weight, max KW. Take the restrictions off and let’s see. Twin turbo 6 would do faster lap I believe than electric.

This should have been driven by an experienced driver of the track and might have got a better time. A full video of the drive would have been better and also the speed shown on the video. This was like seeing a movie trailer.

If manufacturers were more interested in extending the range of of EVs as opposed to making them fast around circuits, which is COMPLETELY irrelevant in societal life, they might garner more interest. Who cares how fast an EV is if it has to be charged every 100 miles, get them out to the same range as an ICE powered car, then come talk to me.

Not all that impressed with the presentation. Cameras in weird places in the van that do not convey decent images of the speed or activity going on to keep it on track, the chest camera is particularly useless. Then missing sections of the lap, which make it hard for viewers to believe the task was done as claimed.

I just don’t think EV’S will ever capture motor sport fans. At the moment they are bit of a novelty. I certainly don’t think people are going to pay to watch them or sit in front of the television watching these soulless cars. If they ever try to make F1 cars into EV’S you can kiss goodbye to having a audience It would be lost overnight.

I love my internal combustion engine but this is what electric cars should be like. This should be in a dealership lot possibly detuned unless on a drag strip or track. I don’t think electric vehicles should be a replacement for all combustion vehicles. Instead it would be nice as just an ADDITION to the market NOT REPLACEMENT. This super van sounds like a jet engine roaring by or sounds like a slot car some of us played with as kids.

Cool but very boring. Like replacing fireworks with a laser show. I get its good engineering but I won’t be there to watch and most people wouldn’t either. Electric race cars would be the end of car racing. I think esports will become the main form of car racing after ICE cars as the next generation loves video games and can related to their esport hero’s. No one is interested in watching these cars.

Still have a combustion engine regardless of these companies throwing down our throats. Electric hasn’t proven itself to our climate and there are far too many exploding into flames on a regular basis occurance for me to change ways.
