I recently started journaling for organization and productivity, but wanted to add a few journaling methods to help me keep track of my mental and emotional states throughout the days, weeks, and months to see if there's any recurring patterns. This video was a big help. You brought up some good ideas I'm going to try. Your tips were helpful also. Thank you. You have a new subscriber. I look forward to watching more of your content. Best wishes

I hope you did it! Just did it right now, and it really made me look at my emotions from a critical perspective and didn't make it feel as powerful as I once perceived it as.

I love journaling so much! This year I have decided to journal for my mental health more... I have autism and I think it would help me a lot if I managed to stick to it!

Hey, I've been doing Braindumping for a while, I wanted to add some variety to my Journaling habit. I've been looking around the internet for ideas and I must say that yours was most helpful. You were very articulate, your ideas were great and I resonated a lot with the tips that you gave. Thank you so much :)

Right? My first 3 journals were more just ripped pages than actual pages. I would suggest having 2 seperate journals. One where you can allow yourself to worry about how each page looks, and the other to keep entirely to yourself where you don't need to worry how it looks. I know this is a late reply, but I hope it helps!

Maybe use a spiral notebook (easy to rip out pages) or an erasable pen? (I use Pilot Frixion Clicker 0,5).

Here are some things I do in my journals that someone else may like to do: 1. I usually grade the day. So an amazing day would be A+ and the worst day ever would be an F. Or anything in between 2. I add song lyrics randomly on certain pages because the lyrics resonate with how I feel at that moment 3. Sometimes when I’m really upset I forget about trying to make the pages look good or “aesthetic” I just let loose and write quickly, sometimes using capital letters or giant words. It’s very therapeutic. Hope someone will find one of these helpful for them. 😊 take care of yourselves 💛

i always want to journal just to dummy my thoughts because i can't talk to friends about it because i don't think they really care too much, but i don't want to be reminded of when i felt bad because it really upsets me. i'm not sure how to overcome that

Your video helped me a lot to decide exactly what to write, enjoyed it very much❤ But tbh the music in the background at some point became distracting and very noisy.. try to talk with no music at the background it would be perfect💕
