As a former marine carpenter and joiner, I love the fact you pointed out the construction of the table and flooring! There is always the WOW factor of a yacht, and then there is the WOW factor of it's construction.

Yes, to many craftsmen that is the thing we are observing the entire time, the amount of effort that went into achieving absolute perfection.

I appreciate the captain's willingness to take the time to answer "pleb" questions, expanding on the overall answer of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."

Holy cow the quality of that vessel is unsurpassed. I'm glad you picked up on that ES because it really is the thing that amazes me, the fact that craftsmen were allowed to work to achieve perfection rather than some poor little oriental kids being ordered to knock it out in an hour. Everything is as high in quality as humanly possible.

Love the use of space on this yacht. Well done. The captain was great. I really enjoyed the openness and extra detailed information he gave on fees, fuel etc. making this one of your best videos. Should add this informative section to future videos. Makes it stand out from other presenters of yachts on KZbin. Another wonderful video. Thanks

That was fantastic definitely one of your best videos to date and the captain was brilliant. The VIP stateroom is one of the best I've ever seen on a yacht of this size. Looking forward to the rest of your videos from Monaco

This capt. was awesome. He’s really passionate about his vessel. Very nice tour , opens up the whole world of chartered yachts. A few more like this would be awesome. Sort of like sales pitches for week or two rentals. That seems more like my budget than an all out purchase. Love the work you’re doing SysMan ; keep it up !!

This was an excellent video. What a absolutely stunning vessel. The craftsmanship of the interior was stunning. The fly bridge was gorgeous and so so spacious. Best part was how professional and delightful the Captain was. I mean what a great tour guide. He allowed you plenty of time and nothing felt rushed. So so glad your back in Monaco and the Yatch show is actually happening this year. Can you please show us Viva the mega Yatch built by Feadship I believe she is parked in front of super Yatch Bold. As ever a BRILLIANT video. Asking great questions. Just sat here in UK in total bewilderment of how the 'other half' live & equally impressed with not just the Captains encyclopedic knowledge but the fact we have similar numbers on the clock but he looks in his late 20's early 30's 🤯😎

Does the staff (typically) come along when buying something like this? This captain(?) and his knowledge/experience is a big part of why I really like this. Considering the €14,5M price this man is a big part of that. Thank you for bringing this, a big plus for your channel and our enjoyment 👍
@grondhero3 жыл бұрын
_Generally speaking:_ The crew stays with the ship. They are contracted (either for a season or a year) and stick with that contract, then either renew or move to another yacht. (The new owner will pay the remaining portion of their contract.) Some crew members might stay for one year, some four, some for their career life (the latter _generally_ being the captain and/or engineer). There's also an "industry standard" for pay, which owners can always opt to pay more for higher quality and less turnover.

The lighting control is Lutron's HomeWorks system. This system has long been in use on high end homes in excess of 10,000 sq. ft (3050 sq. meters). It interfaces with the Crestron system, which is the preferred software for high end home theater control. What the HomeWorks system brings to the table is additional lighting, environmental and security controls. The installer can be anywhere in the world and can access the system to make adjustments that the client may suddenly require as well as to troubleshoot any aspects that are not functioning properly. In order to install the HomeWorks system, the contractor has to be certified by Lutron to do so and in order to get certified, the contractor has to sell $35K USD worth of HomeWorks first.. Which isn't hard to do on a 10,000 sq. ft home.. Because of the hands on experience in the lab work of the course, I assume that one would still have to fly out to Lutron's headquarters to take the certification course.

Oh! That was stunning! You could see the shear quality of the vessel! That was also very interesting re the cost of hiring it too! I could say GULP! LOL! I cannot wait to see your next clip! Please excuse me for asking this? Why does the panel over the vip bed not look level? As when you look at the top you can see it goes up, on the right edge? Or is it an optical illusion?
