Dollar tree has the 100% acetone and it’s a pump top that I just started using when I ran out of my 91%. After using it once, I went back and bought several bottles so I didn’t run out in the future 🤣

Great video. However, I have found that washing with dawn dish soap instead of wiping with alcohol works better for me. I get less fisheyes when I don’t use alcohol. But boy is that stuff hard to come by now due to covid!!!

I'm the opposite. I rarely use paint, but I use mica powders ALOT to give my alcohol ink tumblers shimmer without glitter.

I am new to tumbler design and I was wondering if you could help me. I put a coat of epoxy over my glitter and let it dry 24 hrs and since it was still a bit rough, I put on another coat. I thought I was done smoothing the epoxy, but closer examination revealed bubbles! I tried soothing it again, it got worse. I tried the heat gun but no help. Even if I can't fix this , what do > watch for next time.

The code should work fine. If you’re having issues, contact glitter heart co at their Facebook book page. Also- if you put the code in then had items in your cart for a while. Then try to check out, it won’t let you. You have to add items then use the code.

I also use Marabu easy marble paints to hydro dip. I have two hydro dipping videos, one on each method! There isn’t a flat matte epoxy but there is a method. After you epoxy, wipe it down really well with liquid bar keepers friend. This takes a lot. But it gives it a nice matte look!

It is used to rotate the epoxy. If you don't place the tumbler on the turner then the epoxy will drip from the cup

What happens if you need to sand your tumbler because its bumpy? What I mean is after you sand down dry then what? Do you just leave it like that & its good still, or you sand down & re apply all over apoxy on the cup?

Once you sand the tumbler, you will notice some spots are foggy or scratched. Wipe it down with some 91% alcohol then re epoxy, it will shine right up. Then your tumbler is finished!
