This b&w film "Youth of the World: IV Winter Olympics" shows the Winter Olympics in 1936, which were held in the villages of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bayern, Germany. The film contains wonderful footage of the different Olympic disciplines including cross-country skiing, slalom, bobsled, and ski jumping. Many of the images are presented in a style reminiscent of filmmaker / director Leni Riefenstahl, although she was apparently not involved in the production of this short.
