Use your grinder and slot it out then weld it up ! I’ve done it many times !

Insert 2 steel pins on either sides of the tap flutes. Weld them together at the top and turn slowly with a wrench. Works sometimes.....that one was really jammed

Yup, that one was really jammed. I finally got it though.

Nick, should have welded a nut onto the Broken tap, or machined the top to expose the tap enough

Hey Nick! I was in your neck of the woods a while back for the monster truck races. Beautiful country!

I do love the deep woods.

Like watching your videos and sharing your time with us . Could that extension block not be welded to the piece that the tap broke off in?
@NikColyerMachineWorks6 ай бұрын
It could and I can't remember why I didn't weld it.

Very observant of you. Truth be told, my shop has not had even one decent filmable machine project since last august. My whole business has been forced to shift to making gates and fences to survive. Until something interesting comes in I'm forced to repost old videos. Sorry.

Nik Just weld the lower block on.

G'day Mr Nik, Didn't you hear me yelling to stop. 🤷 Anyway shit happens. Q. Did you kill a cat or something because you got a gremlin in your shop. You need to do a deep cleansing, that I'll fix things back to normal. So, awhile back, I did the same thing, and I went through everything, trying to get that sucker out. I ended up putting a carbide burr bit in the drill press, and it made a hole big enough to get an easy out in. Anyway, thanks for sharing the progress man Peace ✌️ from Melbourne Australia

Because no work has been coming in I've been taping into past video projects. This one was from 4 years ago or so.

The title says this is the end but you also say it will be continued next week. That is a bit confusing.

Hey, join the crowd, I'm confused most of the time myself and it's me I'm talking to. Thanks for checking in.
